Oh, and eating a PBJ w/strawberry jam.
I watched Iron Chef earlier and the secret ingredient was PBJ, and I've been craving it ever since.

Lately I've been craving them more. I have no idea why, particularly.

I know it sounds weird, but one of my favorite meals is a PBJ with a bowl of chili and a glass of milk. Only thing I can figure is that when I was a kid, they always served a peanut butter sandwich with chili at lunch at school.

PBJ's with beef vegetable soup is my favorite combo. :-). My dad grew up with that on the farm!

I ate PBJ for lunch every single day in 6th grade. It was my first experience with setting and achieving long term goals. lol

Sorta, if your missing something the juice has an abundance of (like carrots and beta carotene), otherwise - the problem with juicing is that it leaves behind all the really good stuff, namely the pulp and in the case of something like an apple which has a lot of sugar, well your getting a lot of sugar.

Your better off just eating the whole fruit or vegetable if your just doing it for the health benefits of fresh vegetables and fruits.

The only real health benefit I can think that actually comes from juicing is that you might not be exposed to all the crap they use to preserve prepackaged juices, especially ones that list "natural flavors" (for example raspberry natural flavoring is derived from the *** of a beaver).

I think Juicing as an accompaniment to a healthy daily diet that has leafy mixed salads and plenty of fiber from fruits, veggies, grains, is an excellent shot of additional potency. Esp lot of carrots.
However, a high juice habit (4/day) will definitely jump your triglycerides because of the excess of fructose. I learned. My tri's hit 470's and there was no other explanation because I was normal weight, in top shape from a physical career. Now they are back down to the 190's and I juice a few times per week on top of an excellent balanced diet.

I could never ear the amount of fruit and vegetables you're supposed to eat in a day without juicing it tho. I quit buying store juice because of how bad that stuff is for you, they add all kinds of things to it. Didnt know *** of a beaver was one tho :gross:
