I've got the A/C rolling. It was miserable here today after all that rain and then got really hot. Humidity was horrible. Finally got the pool cover off and had it hanging over the fence and stretched out across the yard to let it dry and it was so hot under that black cover that steam was rolling out from under it off the ground.

Forgot to post after pictures of the brisket. I got this one taken before it was swarmed. There's maybe 3-4 slices left after the dinner party and the weekend, and they're the small end which means it's about a meal's worth. **** it was good. I think I'll make another this weekend, or I might branch out and do some pork butt.

I took a fork out of the drawer and it was ice cold!
