What're you doing?
Currently, letting the MyHD MDP-120 tuner scan the airwaves for the digital channels in my Vista machine. Yes, it works, even though it totally says "Nuh-uh! You ain't running XP or earlier!" Yay XPSP2 compatibility mode.
Oh, man, I miss America, N10A. She was based in Houston, just northwest of Intercontinental Airport. The site is now a Home Depot.
I *DID* manage to somehow get gifted tickets for a ride on her. I want to say that my Dad got them for me for my birthday.
What an experience! Dad and I went (who else was I supposed to take!?) They bent over backwards to get him on the ship. He uses crutches and braces. He hopped right on in though. I somehow got to ride shotgun and watch the Captain maneuver that big balloon around. Full time job, like a helicopter. I'm an Aviation nut so I knew what stuff was, but I was fascinated by the way he worked the controls, as there's no yoke. Just rudder pedals and an elevator wheel. Very different!
Man, the memories. That was a good dang day. Thanks for reviving them!

Fixin' to watch the Indy 500 on my computer with the thing I talked about yesternight.
Go Andretti! Or Carpenter! Or, for an international guy, Kanaan!
Ooh, Jim Nabors is on!
Edit: I'm so glad he was there today. He sounded as good as ever.
Here we go! "Start yer engines!!!"
Edit2: Really, just want a clean good race, nobody hurt, and a decently exciting finish. There they go, pace laps away!

yesterday went and ate lunch with some friends, then saw fast 6, then went back to teh UTV park with them and rode all afternoon/night. 50mph down a narrow trail in the middle of the dark = awesome.
Today i just planted some herbs so id have fresh for cooking.

Race is over. I sorta called it.. Way to go Tony!
Andretti Racing did pretty good, 2, 3,4, and how about that rook? Pretty good race from him!
But definitely, real happy for Tony Kanaan.
Now I'm off to play with my motorcycle restoration project.
Long overdue for Tony! Darn good race this year as well! Now let's see if rumors ramp up of FMC back on the grid for the 100th running in a few years . . .
