Probably one of my favorite songs ever.
Hey, when Eric Clapton says you're a bad mother****er, you're probably a bad mother****er!

Talk about a love song, holy ****. So well written and arranged. The way that crescendo builds up to an amazing climax as the story is told, then suddenly crashes down to the basement into a nasty, gritty blues riff, sheet, it doesn't get much better than that. Who as an adult man can't relate to that? That is what music is supposed to be about, feelings. That is where real music comes from, straight from the pit of your stomach, from within, from real experiences.
Not to mention one of the best bass lines EVER!

its friggin bad when Justin Timberlake is more country than most of the artist at the CMA's. And Chris Stapleton needs to sit in with BBS or ZBB, he'd fit right in.

Off the cuff things like this...
Always loved this song, always loved the band Alabama, one of the first concerts I went to. These guys just kill this song. We always considered the band Alabama as home town guys because they were from just across the line in Ft.Payne and they sang about Lookout Mountain, they were neighbors as far as we were concerned back then. We could stand on my buddy's back porch drinking Crown and see Fort Payne form there.
Actually, I'd love to see them in concert.
Especially for songs like this at the Grand Ol' Opry....
That is some good ****, great song, great writing, great vocals.

Well, we all just wanna be big rockstars
And live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We'll all stay skinny 'cause we just won't eat
And we'll hang out in the coolest bars
In the VIP with the movie stars
Every good gold digger's gonna wind up there
Every Playboy Bunny with her bleached blond hai
And live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We'll all stay skinny 'cause we just won't eat
And we'll hang out in the coolest bars

Every Playboy Bunny with her bleached blond hai
I was just a normal guy
Life was just a nine to five
With bills and pressure
Piled up to the sky
She never asked
She knew I'd be
Hangin' with my wilder friends
Looking for some other way to fly
Life was just a nine to five
With bills and pressure
Piled up to the sky
She never asked
She knew I'd be
Hangin' with my wilder friends
Looking for some other way to fly
Well I sat down in the front seat and turned on the radio
And them sad old songs comin' out of them
Speakers was solid country gold
Then I noticed the stranger was
Ghost-white pale when he asked me for a light
And I knew there was something strange about this ride. . .
