i learned how to sucessfully mount and remove a tire from a wheel. and how to properly balance a tire. ...hard to believe such small weights can make a big difference.

 

This is kind of how I feel about KoRn. Rock had kind of disappeared and everything was alternative rock (which I also like).....then comes KoRn and Hard Rock was re-born with a new style. It's awesome how much of a connection music can have with different points in our lives and how we can totally connect with certain artists. I can hear a song and immediately be thrown back in time reminiscing about yesteryear.

 

When the boss is not around, the work day is MUCH more pleasant.

Funny thing is in the early 90's you were 19 and had a GF, I was about 11 and had pimples

 

Of course, being the dork that I am, I discovered Nirvana through Weird Al. After listening to Smells Like Nirvana for months, I finally thought to myself "This isn't half bad. I should check these guys out." So I headed to town and grabbed a copy of Nevermind. The rest is history.

And In Utero was the soundtrack to my Senior year in high school, and will therefore be forever sacred in the annals of Coopdom.

 

Ya know Weird Al is pretty genius in his own weird way. The 90's really did have a very interesting mix of artists.

 

I learned that it's 9/11 again. And it's time for Americans to do their part.

 

I also learned that it was on this date, in 1970, that the Ford Pinto was introduced.

Kind of ironic, if you think about it…

Daddy's car in the woods?

Little Johnny watched his daddy's car pass by the school playground and go into the woods.Curious, he followed the car and saw Daddy and Aunt Jane in a
passionate embrace.

Little Johnny found this so exciting that he could hardly contain himself as he ran home and
started to tell his mother.'Mummy, I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the woods with Aunt Jane.I went back to look and he was
giving Aunt Jane a big kiss, and then he helped her take off her shirt.Then Aunt Jane helped Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt Jane...'

At this point Mummy cut him off and said, 'Johnny, this is such an interesting story, lets save the rest of it for supper time.I want to see the look on Daddy's
face when you tell it tonight.'

At the dinner table that evening, Mummy asked little Johnny to tell his story Johnny started his story, 'I was at the playground and I saw Daddy's car go into the woods with Aunt Jane.I went back to look and he was giving Aunt Jane a big kiss, then he helped her take off her shirt.Then Aunt Jane helped
Daddy take his pants off, then Aunt Jane and Daddy started doing the same thing that Mummy and Uncle Bill used to do when Daddy was away on the oil rigs.'
Mummy fainted!

Moral:
Sometimes you need to just shut the f##k up and listen to the whole story
before you interrupt!

I learned to stay away from WalMart on the weekends when it's busy. It's great that they hire the elderly and handicapped, but don't put them on the registers during the busy days of the week!!
