I've learned that certain doctors will provide me with "dope" so I can deal with society.

I just learned that we are going to get 10cm of snow tomorrow and another 10cm on Thursday as well as -30 temps. Might have to call in sick a few days this week

I usually approximate that 1"=2.5cm but if we would just invade Canada we would never have to worry about that.

I've learned Mike knows the conversion formula but can't use it.

10cm is 3.937 or roughly 4 inches

I've learned that the state wants to more than double the gas tax bringing to 50 cents per gallon, or a total of 68 cents total per gallon with the federal tax.

Another example why we were once called Taxachusetts.

Sure! The way they look at it is that you were willing to pay $4/gallon so now that gas is down they can safely raise it and you shouldn't complain.

That's why Govt. is the first form of legalized stealing.

With the Big Dig, there has been a lot of talk of raising tolls or the gas tax to pay for it. $3.00 tolls near Boston would go to $6.00. That didn't go over well with commuters. With the gas tax raise, they say all but a few tolls will go away.

When the turnpike was paid off, the tolls were supposed to go way. Well, it's been paid off umpteen years ago and the tolls are still there.

Other states still have a higher gas tax, but if this increase go through, we will be the highest.
