Still on a 3GS, ha, that's so cute. My very first phone was a Motorola through AirTouch anyone remember them? The contract was for like 120 minutes and THAT'S IT over that and it was like .45 cents a minute

 

2 year contract man. Timing was just off by about a year. I can still do some good trolling with a 3GS though.

 

You can alway upgrade into a new 2 year before your old 2 year is up. You can get the discounted price on a new phone after having your old phone for just one year.

I think you should do more research about the download speeds they are claiming for the 4s on att's network. While the verizon and sprint networks wont see speeds like that (which i dont care im on att) the 4s will download just as fast as any 4g phone att has. and WAY faster than any other 3g phone anybody has, peroid.

The only thing its not faster than is LTE which is just about non existant and destroys battery life anyway. I'm gonna pre order one in about 3 hours lol

I went with a white one this time, 16GB. I didn't realize at first the only the 4S gets Siri.

I can't wait to try out iOS 5 on my 3GS in a couple days.

 

I'm sure you are right about that. I held off on the iphone 4, so I used my upgrade for the 4S. If I had jumped on the 4 I would not be upgrading to the 4S.


Yes, as of right now Siri is exclusive for Iphone 4S only, but I have a feeling if it does very well it will be made avaliable in the next update after iOS 5.

I don't care about trying Siri out, I just want a couple days to play with the new OS before my phone gets here.

And I read that Siri needs the dual core processor and will only make it onto 4's through jailbreaking

 

If iOS5 was only for the iPhone 4S, then I would sell this one. But I'm more interested in the new OS than the new phone. The next iPhone should be a big jump in technology.

 

I got iOS 5 on my 3GS last night, its pretty cool. The notifications thing is great, def made my phone 10x faster than being jailbroken.
