Anyone pick up the iPhone 4s last night? How are you liking it so far? I have mine ordered but will not see it for about 2-3 weeks. I guess it was worth it since I saved by not paying an upgrade fee due to ordering through my work.

 

I got mine yesterday... I love it! It's faster and I love the pull down bar... Can't wait till they hack the iOS tho I'm ready to customize it a bit more

So, a question for you iPhone users on here. I really don't want iTunes on my new rig, but I need to update my 3GS to iOS 5. Can I just take it to an Apple store to upgrade the firmware?

 

Not sure. Just upgraded my 3GS and it took quite a few hours. Why don't you want iTunes?

 

If it was just iTunes, I might not have a problem with it, but Apple bundles Quicktime and Safari into it and they want to change my setting to make them defaults. And update themselves all the time. Basically I want as little clutter on this thing as I can manage.

Seriously though. There was a big deal after the election about how he was going to keep his crackberry and the secret service didn't want him to do that but he said he couldnt give it up.
