I just think its sad that the iphone 4 has been out for 16 months, it was behind when it came out for not being 4G, and they drop a new phone and can't even update the screen size or give it the capability to run 4G which it shoulda had over a year ago.
iPhones do some things well, but really the fact that it can go from locked to taking a picture .8 seconds faster than a droid is supposed to be a reason to buy it? It's a neat feature, as is the nice camera, but thats not gonna make me pick it over a phone with REAL better features. ie bigger screen, longer battery life, faster download speeds, ability to play flash, expandable memory, replaceable battery, and all of this usually months earlier than the iphone.
what did apple really do? I don't see how they could have done less as far as developing a new PHONE. Obviously the OS has a bunch of cool new features (most of which have been taken from Droids), but look at how long this phone has been out, and all they did was stick the processor from the ipad 2 in it (which samsung makes for them lol) and give it a new camera (8mp, yeah my buddies year old droid has an 8pm camera).
One thing I would have liked to have seen woulda been a better PHONE. iPhones are notorious for being bad at being a cell phone, quiet speakers, dropped calls, poor reception.
I'll probably run iOS 5 on my 3GS for a couple months until my contract is up and then see whats available.

Rogers has been testing it in Canada in select places (LTE)
However a lot of the 4G branded phones (like my 9900) are just HSPA+
and show up that way on the phone as well. (H+ or 3G depending on network I'm on)

FTR my grandparents didn't give me ****. Nothing. My cousins got all kinds of stuff and one of them got a car from our grandparents. I must have been a bad kid because I got nothing.
I'm not bitter though.
The cousin that got stuff is now 400 lbs. and my uncle who was always spoiled by his parents (my grandparents) is a heroine addict and has hepatitis.
Sometimes it doesn't pay to have it just handed to you. Not saying that to anyone here. I'm just saying it in general. I'm sure all of you are far better parents and grandparents than mine.

My previous droid phones... Droid 1, droid HTC somethin or other, and Droid 2... We're all the retarded ba$t@rd offspring of iPhones and they all sucked (glitches, freezing, forced closes, BS...) I couldn't justify the iPhone w/ AT&T service... But now that it's Verizon it's a no brainer. I think I'll wait on the 5 before I upgrade though... Need some real innovation
