good graphics =/= good games. They're independent.

 

Now go play it on pc

 

Yes I understand that, BUT at this point why do you have to choose?

 

Cost & Avaliability. There are tons of titles that are console specific

 

You can build a pc better than the next gen consoles for less money, all from newegg and have it in two days, and games are cheaper to download(origin, steam)

 

until you need to upgrade because the latest games run on a newer operating system or need different drivers, etc. Not to mention you had to worry about virus protection and the like. With a console you're set for 5-10 yrs. And it's just simpler. Not to mention you can get Mario, Zelda, and all the other console exclusives.

But like I said, I'm not here to argue PC vs Console. I think they cater to very different markets. I just disagreed with the article because it assumes Console buyers are only looking for the best specs...they're not.

 

But I want to play GREAT multiplayer matching, not MEDIOCRE multiplayer like pc

 

BTW Joe I checked with some other friends. They agreed with you. They said Tomb Raider is LEGIT

 

It's like saying you'll have the same experience in as civic as we do in our 5.0's, clearly that's not the case but If your happy with your civic.....

 

It's more like saying the 5.0 is the only car you can have fun in. I love my mustang, but can it do what a Raptor can do? No. Two different vehicles for different audiences

 

I agree with stangfoeva. I don't know but saying you have to have a certain anything to enjoy any hobby smacks of elitism. While I love mustangs, I've driven imports and enjoyed them. I think gaming, much like all fun things in life, depends on your company. A great game is good. A great game when you smack your friends around is better.

 

Not really; both are for games and entertainment, ones just retard easy to jump onto while the other may take a few mouse clicks to use.

Not really.. Remember. I also have a pc very capable of playing bf3 on it... I choose console. Because of hackers... Not exaggerated at all. I've played on pc. And there is always one guy that has some sort of mod.

 

Clearly wii and pc won't be competing lol, I guess if your the same guy buying the new madden every year, that hasn't changed since 98, it explains the whole console thing. Simply put consoles are just simpler, that's their only plus. And no I never said a gaming pc is for everyone nor did I say you should spend 2k, there's actually a complete pc on newegg today for $198 that would be better than a console and cheaper.

 

I also have cod4. And arma3... Both of with has hackers... So tell me how im exaggerating? Xbox is literally hackers free. The only thing you can get away with is modded stats. And then you still risk getting banned.

 

I've played it since release, maybe ran into two(pick a new server). Either way id rather deal with a hacker every thousand games than play that cluster**** of a game on console.

Old games can't be a example, cod 4 lost dev support 10 years ago, not sure about arma 3, or the 10 people that play it.

 

Lol. I ran into them alot more frequent than you claim to have... Either way i have both systems. And they both have strong points. Xbox live blows away pc's online community hands down. Pc has better graphics. Xbox graphics are not that bad. If they were they wouldn't sell.

 

I'm getting the $2k figure from that article. But the argument holds true whether it's Wii, Xbox, or PS3. Consoles are simpler and have exclusive titles. It doesn't inherently make the games any less fun than playing Crysis maxed out on a high end PC
