Lol... You can't tell the difference of 120fps and 60fps. So im fine with 60fps

Got bored and looked around.

XBox plays at 60fps.

And the human eye is apparently hard to measure. Since your eye sight enhances when your on alert, hyped up, and tired. ect.. But the fastest they believe most eyes can see is around 60Hz. Although it depends on ones eyesight.
So im guessing 60 fps should look just a clear to the human eye as 120fps.

 

Yea you defiantly can, and no almost all Xbox games are capped at 30 fps.

 

Call of duty and bf3 show to be 60fps on xbox

This is what I meant by the Examiner article was clueless. Console gamers do not look at a PS4 or 360 and say, "zOMg I'm gonna get to play on a Nvidia n9000200-R graphics card!! w00t!!"

For a console that is irrelevant. The only question is does it have the games I like? It can't really be dated when the games are made specifically for the console. It's not like if I buy a game today it will bog down my 6 year old PS3. It's made to those specs and runs just as well as older games that were released with the system.

The he advocates buying a $2000 gaming rig because buying a console is a waste of money...riiiiight. SO someone who can't afford $400-500 should spend $2k? SMH

Noone can prove one way or the other, and yeah I think cod is the only game at 60 and that's bc it's the same engine from 2004, and bf3 most certainly does not run at 60.

I have both an xbox and a gaming pc... And i will say i play pc for singleplayer or games like minecraft. Any other game is played on xbox because hackers are pretty much nonexistent. Xbox live has done an awesome job at banning jtagged xboxs.

Pc games are a hackers playground.


And just checked. Bf3 is 30fps. But i don't care. Game looks and plays fine. With no hackers

 

If system specs are what you're trying to maximize then yes.

My whole point is that for gaming, my end goal is fun. If that means the game is in 4k at 120 fps then so be it. If that means it's 8 bit so be it. I couldn't care less what the system can do, if the games arent fun or too expensive than what's the point?

 

Didn't realize you could use gaming pc and minecraft in the same sentence, and I've tried bf3 on console. It's more night and day than any other comparison I can think of. You don't know what your missing till you've tried it. But of your happy with slideshows, have at it, I prefer butter.

 

When playing minecraft with an Hd texture pack and extreme render distance you need a decent pc... And again. I hate hackers. Xbox has 0. Pc has ton. Agree with the guy above.vi play for a good time. People hacking isn't a good time.

 

The whole hacker thing is extremely exaggerated, but if it makes you guys feel better.

It's not really a matter of PC vs Console. It's the notion that good gaming requires the best specs. That is false.

 

I choose to have a good game and good graphics, on consoles you simply don't have that chose. I've enjoyed plenty of good games with bad graphics back in the day, but at this point it should be a given, it's 2013 folks.
