I'm not sure if the sole purpose for doing a series in America is necessarily to showcase nothing but American automobiles, it may just be to do a series on American soil for marketing/publicity/distribution reasons.

 

I suppose it might be nice to have some idea who the "star in a reasonably priced car" is instead of having to google them. I guess they'd probably talk about stuff more relevent to us in the news too.

I'll be watching no matter what.

Yeah they will definitely have to make it more PC which sucks but if we are gonna have a TG here glad it's with the "boys"

While its a good idea, I just have a feeling that our censors will make the show totally unlike the U.K version, since they can get away with ALOT more over there. I'll stick with the U.K version, and just get the torrent files off of Finalgear.com.

As for the 25th July thing. There have been no adverts here yet....I will check the schedules. I was led to believe that the new series would start at the beginning of October.

If your talking about Clarkson, thats not very nice. Heck, he is a bit of a wack-a-doodle, but his show is BY FAR the best automotive show on television. Thank goodness for Bit Comet, and the internet, so I can watch the whole episodes. Its my favorite show.

 

Yup, on final gear they say the Top Gear crew is in northern canada for a race to the north pole. Clarkson and May in a modified truck and Hammond on a bobsled. I wonder what stereotypes we Canucks will get in this one haha.
