Speaking of payments and such, I saw a used Hellcat someone had traded in when I took my Jeep to the dealer for an oil change recently. Had 1200 miles on it (can't remember if it was a '15 or '16). Can you imagine the beating somebody took on that deal? Bought it (probably with a mark up) then traded it back in, you know they lost their *** on that deal. I guarantee you, that was a seriously expensive 1200 miles they drove.

Yeah,........I would be sick for a month if I lost that. You're right though Lee.
They probably lost their shirt and then some on that.

Pretty awesome.
The detail shop that did my truck was voted one of the top 9 detailers in the U.S.A. by Autoweek Magazine. Just saw the new website this afternoon. They do amazing work.

Cleaned the truck today since we have KILLER weather. 67 degrees and wall to wall sunshine. Gorgeous outside.

Truck looks killer. I'm getting itchy. I think I may order the GroundForce 2" drop kit and a Spintech 9000 muffler soon. I was going to do just the drop springs, but the GroundForce kit is better. Comes with new shocks and new bumpstops, so it's a true 2" drop and will be a better ride than just swapping out the springs.

For exhaust, I was going to go with either the Corsa or Borla cat back systems, but 2 reasons why I am not. One,.....I like the Spintech 9000 muffler sound the best. It's aggressive. And two,.....the cat back systems are over a grand a piece. Money isn't an issue at all, but I would like to retain the stock look of the truck's exhaust, and if if I'm not really happy with the sound 100%, why spend all that money on a full cat back, right?!? I'll pass on that. lol
I have to call my buddy mechanic and talk to him about this stuff. I know he was against the cutting and welding of a new muffler because of "potential" exhaust leaks, but I told him I have complete 100% confidence in him. LOL He loved it.

That's not the original video. He had another video of just the exhaust, but he took it down because he bought a new truck.
But yes, it's a Spintech 9000.

Well, I hit my personal goal of paying off the 2017 calendar off before or in May, 2017. I checked the status online the other day because I was sure I had December left to pay off, but according to my Chase account, no payment due till the end of January 2018. Wicked amped. Getting ready to send in another payment this coming week as well.
Truck is getting a Mobil 1 synthetic oil change on Friday. My press is going down for repairs that day, so it was perfect timing.
I took a vacation day.

Yes sir! Too funny Gary.
I went to a trade high school in Boston as I didn't want to go to college. I've been in the field ever since graduating high school, so about 27 years now.
I work on HP digital presses. Good stuff, but they can be like women and very temperamental at times. LOL But when they run well, they run well and you can bang out a lot of work.

The shop I work for is one the top 3 in production in the Northeast. Pretty killer/impressive considering we only have 1 shift. (I work 6:30am to 3pm, M-F. Killer hours, especially in the summer time.) We have offset presses, prepress and a full bindery/shipping department. A full blown print shop pretty much.
The smaller press is the 7000HP press that I work on. We have 3 of these. We also have a 10000HP digital press, so we have 4 altogether.
The larger press is the 10000HP digital press.

Truck got it's second oil change today. Good for another 5,000 miles.
Mobil 1 Synthetic oil, Mopar oil filter and Mopar air filter. Big bucks, but so worth it for my babies. Gotta take good care of the babies. LOL

So, my buddy says that I'm better off going with a full cat back system or a direct replacement muffler since he says I'm "so fussy" with my vehicles. LOL They can do the cut and weld swap out muffler if you like, but who's to say after a couple years of being in the rain/snow/salt that it won't be leaking. That was just his advice.
So,..................I think I'm going to go with the Flowmaster Outlaw direct replacement muffler. (Slowmaster. LOL )

Here is a sound clip. Sounds pretty awesome. Throaty, aggressive and loud. (It will fit the truck's personality perfect when I am done with it. 2" Ground Force rear drop to level the truck off with alignment, if it needs it, and then the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2's. Going to look and sound killer. )

Thanks Burton, I knew you would like it. Sounds pretty nasty. I am going to order it soon. I hope to have it installed the day after Memorial Day. (I have a vacation day scheduled that day. Long weekend. )
The best part,.......it's a direct unbolt/bolt on fit. Swap out the out muffler, put on the new. No worry about welds or any leaks and what not.
Then will be the Ground Force 2" rear drop kit. The tires I will buy when I need them. They're Goodyucks, so they shouldn't last too long.

Ordered some Weathertech Floorliners in black color for the truck today. I had them in the last Ram as well and they worked out great.

****I had the finger on the trigger a couple of times this weekend on ordering the Flowmaster Outlaw muffler, but I held out.
Soon,......

So,......I FINALLY ordered my direct replacement Flowmaster Outlaw muffler today. FINALLY! (just placed the order actually.) Now more wimpy exhaust note for this Ram. lol
Man it is an expensive piece though, but they are getting the money for it, so I guess the can charge as much as they want, people are still buying them. ($$$$ especially for just a muffler.) Lots of them on the Ram forum though.

Sent out another truck payment out this morning as well! No truck payment due till the end of February, 2018!!
