Truck looks good, but you don't need all-terrain tires to drive over the occasional pebble in the road, lol.
Had the first-gen KOs on my Ranger, great tires, not as good in the deep stuff as the M'T's, but the M'T's suck on the road, you feel every tread block.
Any thoughts of keeping the stock wheels with these tires for winter duty and getting some nicer wheels and nice all-season performance tires for the rest of the year?

Thanks man, I appreciate it.
To be honest, the truck feels a little more planted now, not sure if it's in my head or not, but it feels good. A little more road noise, but not much. These things are gonna be BEAST in the snow. They are deep snow rated. The previous tires were pretty much done, so I wasn't going to keep them and they SUCKED BAD going over puddles. Hydroplaning like crazy. They only had 33k on them as well. Goodyear tires aren't the same as they used to once be.
Not sure how long these will last, but not too concerned with that as I would LOVE a new daily driver anyways. I drive like 7k miles a year, if that. I'm always looking and emailing dealerships. Whichever comes first, I'll tackle it. I must be getting old, because I sometimes try to talk myself out of getting something new.
LOL
I think you will like those tires! My son had a set on his '07 Tacoma and drove the crap out of them. Tires were bought while he was in Boise, then pulled a fully loaded u-Haul trailer with the over packed truck when he moved to Columbus OH to follow his future bride. Tires did a great job for him. He swears by the and put a set on his 4-runner when he came back. The road very nice for an aggressive tread and wore very well too. He sold the truck with 37-40k on the tires when he decided to come back here. They still had enough tread to handle a Columbus winter when he sold the truck

That's awesome. Good to hear.
My buddy's shop said they have to get 2 more sets of those tires for 2 other customers of theirs. One is a newbie to the tire and the other has had them before and loved them and is a repeat buyer.
I'm sure mine will last a while as I don't drive very much. I'm guessing about 120 miles a week? Maybe even less than that. Work is only 15 miles round trip, so that's only 75 miles a week for work.

What are you looking at for a new daily?
And are you looking to keep the truck and add, or replace the truck?

Very true, Not a good tire any more.
Looking to replace the truck. It's got low miles, but I can get a killing on it and might try to capitalize on it. We'll see how it goes.

So, I emailed one of the local dealerships about ordering a car. Stupid me, I usually ask up front about MSRP and ADM and stuff like that. Stupid me. We exchange about 2 or 3 emails by this point.
It takes about 4 - 6 months to get the car,.......it goes into a queue and when the right amount of orders get allotted, they build them and then ship them over from Germany. So I was good with that, if I order in November or December, I'll have it for the summer time before next winter and it gives me time with the car and time to acquire some killer winter tires. So, we get down to the nitty gritty and here it comes,..........5k ADM on the car. LMFAO
He cited the supply and demand garbage. I told him, "thanks a lot, I appreciate your time. If that's the case, I'll have to add 5k onto my trade in and highly doubt the dealership will be willing to pay that towards my trade". That was the last email back and forth. LOL
I give up. Remember back in the day when you can just order a car and be done with it and not worry about stupid ADM bull****?!?!? What a shame.
I can't remember how many dealerships that I have emailed about different vehicles in the past year that didn't have the stupid ADM bull****. I only found one and that was the Genesis dealership. I like some of those Genesis vehicles a lot. Great reviews everywhere and outstanding power train warranty.
Okay, that's my rant . lol

Well, I came Back to Do a Write Up on Obsolete Faux Gas Caps & Forgot to Leave! Pretty Much Just Me & Svopaul Moderating! Still Helping People Find Parts Just Not Selling Em! Here are the Regulars Posting Here! Pretty Small Group of Mostly Old Timers at this Point!
Gave her a nice P&S Absolute rinseless wash yesterday. My new "go to" wash method.
I also use the P&S Beadmaker spray as a drying/gloss enhancer aid. Great stuff. She stills need a clay at some point, but time is not on my side. LOL
I'll probably start a new thread, but, as of Saturday, this is my daily driver.
I've been going back and forth with this dealership for literally about 7 months now. LOL I was going to buy, then changed my mind, then asked about the suv, then changed my mind, then wanted to buy, then backed out. LOL (WHACKADOODLE!!!) Very professional people and they are the number Genesis dealership in MA as a matter of fact and I see why.
(OH,......that dealership sticker will be off the car before I drive it off the lot as I told my salesman, that has to come off.)
