I just stumbled into this "Northwest" area. I'm from Redmond (no I don't work for Bill). My car is a black 05 GT. It's comming up on it's 1 month birthday. This site rocks. It would be way cool to hookup with some of you local stanger girls and guys.

Hey Sam, welcome. Nice car! Cool wheels!!

Some of us have met, more than once. I work near Jayguy and have been to an autocross event with him in Everett. BigWorm2005GT was there also. It was fun. I know some of the guys post on Stangnet and have met with other Mustang owners a few times.

Check back here every so often. We'll pull something together soon.

Can a V6 owner join in on the fun or is this strictly for GT owners only?

Eric,
Where did you get your Shelby stripes done? Is it painted or tape? I'd like to get that done too, but I have no idea who does that in the Seattle area. Thanks for your help.

Manny,

Hello and welcome! Certainly a V6 is welcome; long as it's a "Running Pony," all are welcome. Whereabouts are you located?

As for the stripes, they were done by Sunset Body Works in Everett. If you're interested, I can get you their phone number. They did an awesome job for me.

"Welcome to the real world..."

Thanks Eric and Andrew.

I live on the Mt. Baker area here in Seattle by Stan Sayres Pits, where they do the Hydro Races. Not a lot of Mustang owners where I live, in fact, I've only seen one other, a Legend Lime V6. I'd like to meet with other mustang owners someday, would be cool to see what mods others are doing on theirs.

On a sad note, I got snubbed by a V6 mustang owner today. I was at Southcenter Blvd just getting off I-5 and there was this Performance White V6 with gold racing stripes that stopped at the light next to me. I rolled my pass window down to say hi and this lady looked at me and she rolled her window up. Not very nice. Oh, well.

It's nice to be able to talk to you guys. Next time there's a meet, I'll be there.

Eric thanks for the tip. I know exactly where Sunset Body Works is. When I talk to them I'll make sure to let them know that you recommended them to me. And don't worry, I'm not thinking about the white stripes for my Sonic Blue. It'll either be a Yellow, Red or Black.

Manny,

Sorry to hear about that "other" Mustang owner, some people I guess forget about simple human consideration and politeness. Oh, well. Maybe the next owner you try to talk to will be more accommodating.

As for your stripes, I am not worried about copycatting. There were two other Sonic Blue '05's with white stripes at Mustang Roundup, so I know I'm not the only one. Your color choices would all work, but if I may, since you have the IUP, silver stripes would look just dandy, I would think. I almost went with silver myself, since it would complement the interior so well. I have seen pictures of other 'Stangs with silver on blue, and they looked quite . So you definitely have options. Black might not be a good choice, though. Sonic Blue is already a very deep color, so you may not get the contrast you'd like.

We're trying to put together a get together in the Seattle area for Saturday, come on down if you can! Be great to have someone else there.

Eric
