LOL STD, you just got...........

OK now, let's focus our energies on getting more attendees. I spoke to Brent again today and he and Dave are still really hopefull. Along with people from Ben's club and my local club, who else do we have? Are we missing anyone from this site? Should we ask to have a link to this thread posted on the main forums?? After all, technically is a "TMS" event.....

We probably do need to establish a start time, and how much funding will be needed! for food, drinks and if we do that who will be responsible for the logistics of the setup!........Because we are only about three weeks from Stangstock!! .......

Right on! Can we get feedback from the fellow attendees? Ben, Larry, Steve? What do you guys think? Ben, was the cost of the shelter only the $30 you mentioned previously? How do we want to handle food and drinks? At this time, we're looking at around 10 people attending unless the Indy/Ft. Wayne clubs really get involved.

I will post a link in the main (non-tech, non-appearance) forum......

The enviroment at the park is more suited for a picinic style get-together. Early on Ben offered to bring the meat (hamburger/hotdogs) because he is one of the closer people. We all can help him with the cost of the shelter and meat via paypal. I will bring all of the charcoal, starting fluid and grilling utensils plus aluminum foil. I will also bring all of the paper plates and plastic utensils at no cost to any of the attendees. I would suggest we all bring our own drinks of choice. Meeting time at the shelter I will suggest around 10:30-12 . We can have lunch and spend the afternoon together. Some will have to leave by late afternoon because they are going to have to make the trip back home. The rest of us can meet in STD's room for a wild party! Just teasing. Bring on more thoughts on what works best. These are just my thoughts.

Yep, I will take care of the meat, buns and fixuns. Do we want burgers and dogs? I will take care of anything that has to be kept on ice. refrigerated. That way the folks traveling won't need to worry about large coolers. We can take care of any cost at the park, no reason to give Paypal free $$. I will post the StangStock on our club forum and will see how many speak up. I also agree with bring your drink of choice as that would be alot for 1 or 2 to bring, I don't know if adult beverages are allowed in a state park.

OK, maybe let's leave it as "bring your own drinks, and bring your own cash to help chip in for the rental and food." Of course, anyone can bring anything else that they want, but that would cover the basics.

Ben to supply the meat, buns, & fixin's.......

Scott to supply grilling materials........

I'll bring the plates and silverware........ don't worry about those Scott.

We can continue to finalize but that will cover the basics and then everyone can bring their own drinks, etc. and a couple bucks to chip in for overall costs incurred.

I'm fine with advertising the "start time" to be around 11am or so, as I know it will take me probably 4 hours counting Indy traffic to get there and likely take longer for STD, Larry, and the Brenspeed guys.

****, it looks like I came too late to this game. I'm tied up on Oct. 20th with my wife's dental school class reunion. I'd love to get together with some of the Indiana folks.

I'd also like to see the new found power since you've added the cooler Tom.

Hope it's a great time for all, maybe I'll see some of you passing through Indy. I'll be staying somewhere in Indy for the weekend.

Larry,
Since STD got you on the sweets you might consider some of those cheap picinic table plastic covers. Never know what shape or how much bird poop may be on the tables. Just a thought.

Now it looks like you are going to have to drive an SUV instead of your stang. But I'm with Tom...apple is my favorite also. You definitely got to do the pies.

Scott I was thinking we all would go for a cruise together if the weather permitted! but after eating all the food being packed in, maybe we should go for a walk instead!.......
