Indiana Meet and Greet, OH. ILL, KY, MI Welcome too
I have reserved the Tulip Tree Shelter for our meet on Saturday October 20th. I did this over the net so I had to go by the details on the reservation pages. Here is a link to the park website.
http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/prope...owncounty.html
It has the address so those that need directions can get on mapquest and such. There is also a map of the property. Here is the desription of the shelter from the site.
AN OPEN SHELTER THAT HAS A PAVED FLOOR, HAS A SMALL GRILL AND A GROUP GRILL, 15 PARKING SPACES, WILL SEAT 60 PEOPLE, SHELTERHOUSE IS LOCATED ON SOUTH SIDE OF THE WESTGATE ROAD, IN A PRIVATE SEMI-WOODED AREA
I hope this works for eveyone. I'm sure we could get more cars with some creative parking.
Souinds like the next thing to decide is a time frame, start time isn't a problem, but a ending time would be needed. We wouldn't want to leave and have someone show up late and miss eveyone. The other thing would be do we want to have a group picnic or just leave that up to to each individual. If we want to picnic the local Indiana folks could take care of the perishables and the out of towners the other stuff or I would be willing to take care the whole thing and each bring their on soft drinks. We can work out those details later.

October sounds good. I usually put my car away around the end of October - as soon as the first good cold snap hits. Hopefully the weather holds out.
A little off-subject, but if you like Brown County, mark your calendar for the Shelby Spring Fling next May 16th - 18th. I have gone the last 2 years after an 18 year break. Tons of late model Mustangs will be there - and of course, all the original Shelbys...

October sounds good to me also. I will be bringing my wife and two girls so they can do some shopping in Nashville.
Chris just a heads-up, I ordered my stripes last Wednesday and should have them this week. I would love to get them installed before the Meet and Greet. Let me know if you have some time, if not I may try installing them myself.

It's going to be hard to attend a seminar when you have the flu all weekend......
(cough, cough).C'mon man, you no-showed at Brenspeed in May- you owe us this one.
Ben,
Thanks for doing the legwork on this. Let me know about the cost & I can paypal you for a portion of any costs involved. Start & stop time are not going to be a concern for me, it will be noon before I'd get there & I'll need to depart by dark or so anyway.
We could each bring something for a cookout, burgers, potatoe salad, sides, etc.

The Shelter was only $30 bucks I'm not worried about that. When we get a better head count I will send my paypal address to everyone for the picnic and the shelter cost.
The only thing that I would ask if something happens and we need to cancel, we do so before the first of October.

but I'll kick in some bucks too! We may need to buy fire wood..
. . . Maybe I will make my way over and introduce myself in person to some other TMS'ers.
By the way . . . . 10/20/07 is homecoming for IU (vs. Penn State). Didn't know if that would weigh on your time decision for the get together.

going to try to get out of it! probably can't!
