Yep - I plan on going. Most likely for a few hours in the afternoon... But it is weather dependent. If things start to get cold / rainy, that is the time I put her away for the winter. At least that is the way it has worked out the last 2 years. Right around the 22nd...

 

Unfortunately I won't be able to make this trip. My niece is getting married that weekend so I need to be at the family event! Maybe next year.

Well Guy's! looks like the Brown County M&G is going to be a small group! but still should be an enjoyable get together........

 

Yeah it is looking that way but I am really looking forward to meeting everyone!! It will make for a nice trip.. to very beautiful place.. at the pretty time of the year.

Still have a month to go, might get a few more. Regardless, It will be a great way to spend a Saturday. I'd probably just be doing yardwork or cleaning the Stang anyway.

Guys-

Got an email from Dave at Brenspeed and he said he and Brent are planning on coming, and likely bringing their Saleen car in their trailer!

Also, their fall dyno day is October 27th!!! Be there or be square, you old-timers!

 

That really is great news about Dave and Brent. Maybe they will attract a few of those guys that are waffling about coming. I will have to check with my wife on the dyno day. We have reservations at the Biltmore estate in Ashville, North Carolina that weekend or the next. I can't remember. If it is not that weekend I will surely try to make it.

The Biltmore estate!....Well, smell you!!... Ashville is a beautiful and lovely area!..theres my gay statement for the day!! Brent coming and bringing his saleen is friggin great! We my have to find a nice little desolate piece of black top and let a 1/4 mile break out!!..

 

Checked with the wifey and the Biltmore trip is the weekend of Nov 3rd. So I think I can make it to the dyno day on the 27th. How about you STD since you left us hanging in May.

Nope, never had it on a dyno. I've only got a JLT2 +Brenspeeds 93 tune for performance mods. The tune has been issue free since last fall.I had Brent modify the dashpot close percentage to reduce the throttle hang a bit. I'd like to install LT's, but thats a bit down the road.
After driving min-vans for 23yrs prior to getting the Stang,this car has plenty of go for me. I'll talk with Brent & see what his opinion is, if a little more could be tweaked out of it,might be worth the trip.
