You might still be able to order a 2011 GT from a Dealer and get it for around invoice. There was a guy on the 2010 Forum that orderedone through a Dealer for $300 under invoice. That's about $500 better then X-plan! 
He even posted a copy of the DORA. It looked like the real deal!
If your Dealer doesn't make a deal then perhaps mine would. He's very low key, no high pressure sales pitch. He does the Internet sales for 5 Star Ford, and this is my third Mustang with him. Just let me know if you can't find a good deal.

I can't believe that guy got $300 under invoice. Maybe I'll print that out and take it with me.

Looks like there is at least a one week delay untill the 2011 Mustang production starts. Maybe up to a month, due to a parts shortage? 
The 2011 Mustang orders were 11,000 in the first month. They might be hard to get at first?

It looks like your Mustang order will be scheduled a week from tomorrow. We never could get a confirmation from Ford on the rear camera delay, however we could not find any 2011 Mustang GTs that had been scheduled with that feature.
I placed another Mustang GT special order yesterday. It will be interesting to see when it schedules.
Also, I have been told that we will not have a DORA until the vehicle is scheduled.
I have several other special order vehicles right now (2011 SuperDuties), so I am in contact with our order person a couple of times per week. I have called him so often for your order that he tells me about the Mustang status before I tell him why I called.
He has promised that he will update me as soon as there is any news, but I will still call him at least once a week for your order.
I will update you again next week.

Nice pics Tread! I thought about going, but I kind of forgot about it! 
The Porsche painted as a Police Car was nice, but do you have any more pics of the 2011 GT? Did you order yours yet?
I stopped by 5 Star Ford on Friday in my 65 to give them a copy of my Drivers License as part of the Ford Retail order verification plan and had 3 other sales guys surrounding my car.

Thanks! Too bad it's not in Race Red! I saw some pics yesterday of one in Race Red, and another that had the Red interior like I'm getting. Oh man! 
There's one guy who claimed to have test driven one already. He did have a couple of pics, but he didn't say much about it.

I went to the Dallas Auto Show and the 2011 was locked up there as well. 'Course...it was the V6! No 2011 GT.

We should be able to read about the 2011 Mustangs in the press tomorrow. I can't wait!

Well, the cabin I'm having built should be done a week or two after I get the car, so I'll go there with it. Maybe take a day trip on this one scenic drive thru the Ozarks.
I went by yesterday to see what my trade in value should be on my 08 GT and they said around 18k. Not bad, but I was hoping for a little bit more. But, with the new engine in the GT's, and the V6 having 300 HP I don't think I would get much more then that going thru a private party sale.
How about you guys? Are you going to trade yours in?

Man, there's nothing like a road trip in these cars. Longest I've done so far is 8 hours, and it's sheer pleasure.
I'm not trading mine in anytime soon. It's paid for, and the wife's car is time for a switch. We need something bigger for the family hauler, especially since we're expecting kid #3.
