Well, the test drive went pretty well. I think the Brembo package does have a different set of shocks like that article said. The car that I ordered felt a lot better then the one I test drove at Texas Motors a few weeks ago. He sent me out by myself, so I drove it all over the place.

I liked the car, but I wasn't so in love with it that when he low balled me on my trade in I walked! lol

I did a little bit better with the six speed this time since I spent a few minutes dry shifting to get a feel for the shift pattern. But, I still got bit by "skip shift" when a light changed to green as I was coming up to an intersection. I down shifted from forth to third, but if I hadn't read about this on the forums I would have thought the engine had problems! lol

If I don't end up with this one I'll get another one further down the line. I just got worn out by that six month waiting period!

Also saw a black 2011 GT at work today. With the Brembos on it......

 

Update! Five Star just called and they said that they'll give me what I asked for on my trade in. So, I guess I'll go down there and pick up the 2011 GT.

I went down and got window tinting done at Alta Mere. I went 30% on the side windows, and Limo on the back windows. It's so dark I can barely see out of it. lol

I hope it's still legal?

 

If I remember correctly it should be 35% on the front doors. It looks good though.

Yeah, the front windows are 30%. It's just the rear that is limo.

I got X-plan, the $500 rebate, and the $750 Ford privat offer for a discount of around $3200. Pretty good!

I really had some fun yesterday with this car. I'm glad I got it now, even though I waited forever.....

Order is in the system as of yesterday. I have the VOC and just waiting on the DORA. Hopefully job 2 will go smoother/faster than job1.

They were telling me that the Mustangs were coming in only 5 weeks. That means your could be here by labor day!

I just got back from taking some co-workers to lunch. They were pretty impressed with it. One of them was maybe thinking about getting one. But, he lives about 35 miles away, so I doubt he will get one.

I went to Mid Cities Mustang yesterday, and saw this nice fastback. Very nice!
