So...I'm looking on their site....how do you clean the filter? Or do you order a new one?

 

I think you oil it? Actually I'm not really sure?

 

Soap and water if I remember correctly. I know for sure that it is oil less.

 

Ya...I know its a dry type air filter...just didn't know how to clean it or replace it.

 

I'd swear it was in the instructions. If I can find mine I'll look and see.

 

Now you got me interested! Soap and water would be easier. You could clean your filter at the same time as you do your dishes! lol!

 

The only instructions I had was the same one off their website. No mention of maintenance.

 

Well, I can't find mine. I swear I had a copy saved on my computer. I guess you could PM Steve.

Not much advance notice but, some folks from DFWStamgs will be at Burger Street near the corner of Camp Bowie West and Alta Mere (183) around 7pm-ish. The manager is providing free re-fills and $1 off coupons for food. We tested it last week and he genuinely seems interested in having us there. SO if you are interested then come on out. I won't be there until about 7:30pm since I gotta take my kids home at 7pm.

I look at the stuff that came with my CAI, but I couldn't find out anything about how to clean the filter. Did you guys find out anything?

Haha! I have a micro UAV spy camera. I flew it into the interior of that other car through the ventilation system to take that pic!

 

Went by Texas Motors today when I got out of Active SHooter School today. Checked out an '09 Mustang with a glass roof and man was that nice. There is even more room up top for us taller people and the view was flat out cool. Although it was inside the showroom, I checked out the sliding shade which seemed to block alot of light. I will probably have to have this if/when I get a new car (gonna try to hold on to this one if I can but, who knows what'll happen when the 5.0L hits!!!!!!!).

I also sat in a Flex which was pretty nifty too. There was a whole lot of room in that thing and would be a nice family road trip vehicle. The Vista Roof was cool as well. The interior was also very nicely done and seemed to be laid out well.

I had to run away as fast as I could before I did something stupid!
