Fort Worth crew
tread, get the pics up. I spoke with Brandi from Sppedway charities and we have a 6:30 pm track time. If we are all there at 5, we can line up and possibly hit the track earlier, getting some runs in before the general public lines up. See ya there
Oh yeah! That looks good Tread!
How hard was it to install? Any drilling involved?
Let's have some more pics! Lots more! Maybe even a side angle?
I was thinking of getting one of these V6 spoilers, but they don't have my color! Errr!

It was super easy. The hardest most tedious part was removing the leftover tape when you remove the stock spoiler. The Gt500 spoiler has a lip that you can't see on the bottom rear that lines up with the top of the trunk. When we test fit it we just used 4 pieces of tape across the spoiler and trunk and then cut the tape along the lip. Pull off the 3M tape from the new spoiler and line up the tape strips from the test fit and there you have it. Screw in the 2 screws provided that fit in 2 of the stock spoiler holes. No drilling at all. I might go back and put some silicone in the other holes although half of the hole is covered with the 3M tape. I'll get some better pics as soon as I can. Thanks for the compliment too!

Well, that sounds pretty easy!
Do you have a link to the place you got it from?

Thanks Ghost!
The girl that used to do the Hooters get together is trying to get it started back up in case anyone is interested. Thursday nights at 8pm at the Hooters on Southwest Blvd near Bryant Irvin/Hulen.

And where the heck is Mr. Granetelli?? I'm finally ready to get a CAI and I can't get him on PM, IM or email.
It's bad enough going to work and back 15 miles each way!
Try Steve@GMS, http://forums.bradbarnett.net/member.php?u=105408 you might get a faster response. Mr G is hit and miss.

So, I will soon be part of the Granatelli CAI brotherhood. Also order the double strut tower brace.
If I'm lucky, I'll be installed these this weekend!
Congrats Ghost! I like my CAI!
Thanks for the extra pictures Tread! That spoiler looks good!

Received and installed them today! W00t! CAI and strut brace were a snap! Strut brace is really close to the cover. I don't know if how close I have is "normal" or not, but at least its not touching. Opened her up on a short stretch of road and she bellowed when the RPM's went up. Took a corner and she seemed much more level than before. Will have to hit some more roads tomorrow. So far, so good though!

Shot of the Strut Brace. Its really leaning back (front of car to the right). Clearance on the rear tubes to the cover seems like 1/8".

That looks great! Told ya you would love it. I have the single bar strut brace and it touches the cover a little bit if I remember right. A friend of mine with an '04 GT rode with me one day and couldn't believe how there is virtually no body roll when turning. His is lowered and still has more roll than mine not lowered.
