Didn't the Police and Fire Fighters have a car show today? Did you go?

I drove my 65 around for a little bit today. That was fun.

I'm going to drive it down to the Modern Art Museum for brunch on Sunday.

Did you guys go to the Good Guys show this past weekend? I did on Saturday, but left when it started to rain!

Yes there was and no I didn't go. For some reason I thought it was a week earlier and I had plans that day. I found out too late that it was actually the 26th.

Well, Saturday would have been a lot better without rain. The one downtown a couple of weeks ago was pretty good. I had a couple of friends in that one that placed in the top 100 cars there. I didn't enter, I didn't want to get stuck in traffic!

 

No car shows for me.

But I plan on going to the Alliance Air show next Saturday.

 

Well good. Maybe I will too?

 

I would think you'd have an open pass, considering where you work.

I went to see my dealer yesterday to complain about the prices finally, So he made my decision even harder by informing me that they have a 2007 GT 500 with only 4,000 miles for $39,000!

So now you might get a GT500? Use it as a daily driver?

 

I seriously doubt I would do it unless he made it impossible to resist (as in much cheaper than a new 2011 GT). I can only afford one car so anything I buy will be a daily. I would love to hear that supercharger whine though!

 

Yeah, I think the 2011 GT will be a good daily driver. I don't know that the GT500 would be, but I do like them!

 

I am just about hardheaded enough to daily drive a GT500.<--- This would be me on my way to work!

I really thought I might be able to wait until this summer to order but, I don't think I'm gonna be able wait. I need go see what is the best price I can get.

You might still be able to order a 2011 GT from a Dealer and get it for around invoice. There was a guy on the 2010 Forum that orderedone through a Dealer for $300 under invoice. That's about $500 better then X-plan!

He even posted a copy of the DORA. It looked like the real deal!

If your Dealer doesn't make a deal then perhaps mine would. He's very low key, no high pressure sales pitch. He does the Internet sales for 5 Star Ford, and this is my third Mustang with him. Just let me know if you can't find a good deal.
