More and more of these are showing up now. Mostly traffic supervisor and reserve officer cars. Ours will still be Crown Vics but, with the same paint scheme.

 

The streets are no longer safe! I just ordered a Granatelli CAI and a Strut Tower Brace. They have a TMS special until the end of the month. $50 for the STB and $300 for the satin CAI and $350 for the polished one. No tune required since it comes with a tuned Mas Air Sensor. Supposed to get about 20-25hp. Hope fully they will get here in time for the TMS Laps.

Just found a leak in the new home...well..new home we're moving into. Now I have to get a plumber to check it out and fix. There's goes some fun money. ARGH!!! Already have spent plenty fixing up/painting/upgrading some stuff and now this!!! And once the leak is fixed, I'll have to redo/replace the drywall there!!!

Well, that bites about the leak.
Those cars are Impala's. So far the only ones I've seen are supervisor cars for traffic and reserve officers. Supposedly we are getting Hemi Chargers to replace the traffic camaro's and will still have Crown Vic's for patrol.

 

Where did everybody go? This is my only contact with the outside world!

I'm not sure if there is anything formal on FRi or Sat nites. The street racers supposedly hang out on N.Beach/820 on Sat. nights but, I don't race so I haven't been out there. The Laps for Charity is coming up on the 9th of Sep which is the only thing I know about on a Sat. in the area.

 

I've been away moving...Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday...still don't have internet access at the house. Work is my only internet connection for the moment. Sure was nice have a 5 minutes commute versus the 1.5 hour commute.

Still unpacking, but I got my TV and computer set up...just need the internet and Dish people to swing by.

I've chaulked up the 9th to drive at the Laps.

I need to get a replacement aluminum door floor thingy (that aluminum plate that says "Mustang"). While loading my car, I dropped an item that landed right on it and popped a dent in the thing. I have tried taking it off yet as I don't want to damage it more. What's that thing called and is there any instruction for its removal out there?

 

Well that bites! I think it is called a door sill plate and it seems I remember someone taking one off before but, I'm not sure why. I know it was before the move to the new server. It might be in the interior mod section. Good luck with finding it though! See ya on the 9th.

 

Found it...looks like its just stuck on with adhesive tape. I emailed KC to get a price for the door sill as well.

I really need to wait until we're settled in the move before I start buying toys for my car.

I have another issue now, too. Let my wife drive the car and she went to put something in the trunk. When she closed it, she grabbed the rubber boot that covers the trunk light switch...and the boot came off! Now I gotta figure out how to put that back on. There's not a lot of space to wiggle that thing on easily.

 

Oh man! Did ya give her the "You can't drive my car if your gonna break it" speech. There is a thread in here somewhere about that thing coming off too. I don't have a clue where it is though.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot something.
I had a call at a store the other night about a Louisiana refugee. She was refusing to leave the store parking lot(begging). She ordered me to call a State Trooper to come take her to the bus station and buy her a ticket to Shreveport. When I stopped laughing long enough, I told her I would buy her a ticket to jail if she didn't leave. She didn't believe me until I took out my handcuffs at which time she decided she would leave. I just don't understand some people.

 

Just ROFL! Love the "I deserve everything" mentality. Should have gave her your cell phone and told her to call Ralph Nagin.

Definately this weekend will be wash the car and fix the rubber boot thingy. My baby needs a bath!! Been almost a month since I washed her!
