On my driver's side window the velcro-like stuff that cleans the inside of the window when it goes up and down has come off, leaving goopy adhesive all over the inside of the window and about 6 inches of the felt hanging inside my car.

Has this happened to anyone else? The stuff comes off with goo gone, but now i have to repair it. I guess i could take it to the dealer, but ugh.

 

Are your windows tinted? The felt on the inside is installed to protect tint , and yours was the wrong kind of felt. See the following link for the correct felt and replacement.

hmmm, yes the windows are tinted (by a dealer who transferred the car to the dealer I bought it from)

They installed the wrong felt, they should replace it with the right stuff. BTW I edited my original post with a link from TacoBill's Hotlinks that shows the felt replacement.
