I heard 8-10 weeks from today (which at worst would put it at October 15) unless something holds it up. But with my luck (and it's good) I'll see it in 8 weeks.
And to think, I was so disappointed yesterday when the other dealer told me that the GT's wouldn't be out for 6-8 months, only the V-6 Pony was available, that I looked at an '04 Mach 1 (which I would have been happy with).
WHEW!!

Waiting to 1) Sit in it and II. Get married (5/05)... Will have a 'stang soon thereafter.
I ordered on 08/09/2004... And have no information other than "we'll call you when it gets here. Probably late September."

With 65 mustangs ordered from people who visit here that would be about $1,430,000.00 in sales to Ford without any dealerships having to push to make a sale. (65 mustangs X avg price 22,000 = 1,430,000) With another 61 potential sales, people here have or will be boosting Ford sales by over 2 million!!!!

Ordered May 24, 2004 (VIN: 1ZVHT82H955100777).
Ordered my Premium Black GT 8/17/04. Leather seats, manual tranny (the ONLY way to go on a pony), Shaker 500, anti-theft system (insurance discounts), IUP, Bright Machined 17" wheels. Dealer said to call him this Friday for a build date (hopefully).

I've been lurking in the shadows between here and "that other forum", I'm surprised at the 69 preorders! Wow...... maybe it's just me, but I can't bring myself to ordering a car based on "faith". I gotta drive it first, If I'm not comfortable in it, I won't buy it, and being 6'2" 250 lbs, there is a chance I might not be comfortable in it. I've heard it's a lot bigger than the Fox based Stangs, but the proof is in driving it for myself.
I absolutely wasn't comfortable in previous Fox based Stangs.
Hopefully I'll get behind the wheel by the end of this month, or the beggining of next!
