Unfortunately I don't live in or near a large enough city to have a mass of V6 05's sitting on the lots waiting to be bought. I've heard that realist turnaround on an ordered V6 is about 6-Weeks w/IUP, auto, and all the toys. I did a search but all the threads primarily pertain to the GT.

Anyone here order the V6 and how long did it take before the keys were in your hands and you were driving off into the sunset? I hope to order by the end of March or middle of April. The turn around time could affect when I place my order.

I'd like to know this myself since I ordered a V6 almost two weeks ago now!

I just hope it doesn't take over 8 weeks to get it!

I ordered mine on 11/19 and drove it off the lot on 12/31. Mine was bumped up for unknown reasons though. Hope that helps.

I ordered mine Jan. 2nd with EUP; IUP; Traction control and ABS; Side airbags. I was told 8-10 weeks. Next Sunday, 3/6, will be 10 weeks and I've been told it's the scheduled delivery date. Fingers crossed.

My garage has never been so clean and organized.

Those who are waiting...
PM me with your VIN and I can check OASIS for build status-It generally is exteremly accurate as when the car is built.

I ordered from a dealer in a rural area..they do not have alot of V6's or GT's on their lot, its pretty much over run by trucks. Anyway...I ordered my V6 Premium Vert (w/ IUP and ICAP, auto trans) Dec 13th. My car is scheduled to be built 3-1. If you take into considerstion the fact that the verts did not go into production until jan 31st, the turn around time has not been that bad. The dealer has told me that I MIGHT see delivery by the 3rd week of March. He also told me that Ford puts orders that are considered "sold" at a higher priority than orders placed for inventory purposes. What are you planning on getting? Color? Interior? Coupe? Vert? Good luck with your order.

You'd wait that long instead of driving down to Seattle, Tacoma, or Fife???? I'd make the drive so I would have the fun of driving it back up I-5 and do some break-in driving.
