She's Home !
They installed the new factory windshield (WITH the pony dot matrix logo at the center top) today, and I picked her up around 7:30 p.m.
It was raining, so she is dirty already; but I'll have fun going over her during her first bath at home on Friday or Saturday, weather permitting.
In a word---this is an awesome car.
I MAY have trouble with the Shaker 500, as mine is the Series A and it has already skipped a few times on 2 CDs. But thanks to the good folks on TMS I will know to request a new Series B head unit when replacing this one, under warranty.
A few pictures posted here; I will try to get better ones on by the weekend, alone and with the 65 fastback.

One more...I'll take and post more by the weekend.
JR---there you are !!! I hadn't seen any posts from you lately. Thanks for being the first tonight to respond to my taking delivery. It has been a long haul, but well worth it.
NOW I understand what you all who have already taken delivery are talking about.
I can't wait to get up for work int he morning so I can drive her.
And I am off Friday, so I have a 3 day weekend to play with her.

Right on!
On the skipping thing, try powering the unit off and then back on again, seems to work for me
Also mine NEVER skips on MP3 CD's

It is 12:51 a.m. here, and I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. for work. I need to turn in soon.
You guys and gals are terrific, thanks so much.
Mike, work has had me completely buried. Not only does that mean less forum time, but I work from HOME, which means less time DRIVING!!!
I didnt believe anyone who said I wouldnt remember the wait. Its like when they tell women they will forget the pain of childbirth as soon as you hold your baby. Both are TRUE!
Here's to all open roads, with green lights and no cops for 100 miles!

You are so right, the wait is but a fading memory already.
Thank you again, JR--you're as awesome as "Roxanne" (that's my new baby).

I hope your husband knows what a blessed man he is (I'm sure he does).

Then Saturday, wash her really good, and drive around showing her to friends and family.
It will be a busy weekend, but we'll be driving in style.
