My recommendation is to always find someone that shares the same passions in life. It's more fun when you can enjoy the same things...together

I can't imagine getting hitched with someone that doesn't have the same hobbies. I know many couples are like that, but I just wouldn't be happy with having to split up all the time for activities.

Yep that's marriage material right there.
Kudoes to you for putting "smart" first I'm sure your woman would appreciate that! Not that being attracted to her isn't very important (because it is), but good job nevertheless

Looks like she got a catch too!

Move to Michigan. I saw no less than 5-6 women driving motorcycles on the way home, all of them weren't wearing helmets, leathers, or gloves. Some had shorts on and a t-shirt. I know quite a few women here that can drive stick as well. Like I said, dime a dozen. Unfortunately that doesn't mean they actually like motorcycles or cars or know how to work on them. They just know how to operate them. Any 16 year old can do that just as easily.

Guess you're in the mecca of women that don't drive automatic Scion tCs. Enjoy it! I know of maybe a handful of women that drive a manual transmission.

There's no excuse for being a squid, male or female It never amazes me to see how little value people place on their skin. Falling off a bicycle at 5 mph hurts like a mother, can you imagine falling at 55 mph? Sheesh.

Its better when they have their own GT so they're not beating on yours The old lady's car is actually louder then mine I think.

I'm still trying to convince her to get a Bullitt or another GT/CS like mine, but she is dead set on a Prius

But she did say that I can be the one with the gas guzzler in the family.

lol came across this thread and laughed.

I was out with a friend and I guess before I showed up he was telling this guy about my mustang and I. When I showed up I saw a GT in the parking lot and I was drooling over it. When I went in my friend pointed out who had the GT, and I looked past him lol. saying who...? "HIM"
At the time he had his back turned and he did a slight turn around and looked my way and I was like, no way you sure you mean him! lol. Just so happened the good looking guy I had my eye on was the proud owner.
Our passion has always been our mustangs together We had twin White 2004 GT's, then our 2007 Tungsten GT twins again til' my car accident and mine was totaled.

But... I do have one complaint, HE WONT LET ME DRIVE HIS NEW GT SAYING I'LL BREAK SOMETHING!! (It's manual) grrrr. And when I ask I get "oh I'll let you drive it sometime". Yea when is sometime, how about now!? Oh wow... he let me drive it one time in a parking lot lol.

Mine does the same to me, especially when he bought an Evo a couple years ago. "The clutch feels a little different than I thought. Maybe next time."

As for you guys finding it interesting to find a woman driving a manual car, have any of you run into them at the track? I get all kinds of looks at the track, ESPECIALLY when the slicks go on. I notice a lot of guys talking and saying the usual of "women driver" jokes and how its probably automatic, etc. However, as soon as I finish my burnout all that seems to stop, then nobody wants to run against me. What's going on here?
