Mike Chadwick walked outside to find his truck, trailer, and prize-winning '67 Mustang Fastback had been jacked in broad daylight.

They were gonna ship that thing elsewhere. Japan, China, something like that. They indeed wanted THAT Mustang for a reason, the way they were doin' it.
Jerks. But hey, if all he has to do is repaint the trailer? That's incredibly awesome right there. Although I do bet the truck has some repairs to make.
