I agree on that one. It's worth paying more, IMO, to get exactly what you want, rather than settling.

HOWEVER if you're planning or even THINKING of going w/ aftermarket wheels, just leave the 17s on, unless you are getting the 18s swapped on for free.

Also, if they are adding the 18s, ask them to put in the 18" wheel steering stop in the steering. The stops are different for the 17" wheels vs 18.

Yeah my order will be with the 18" Fanblades (64E). If it's coming like that from the factory I would hope that they configure the steering for 18" wheels..

If you got the 18s as a factory option then yes, it will have the proper stop.

Check out the time it took me to get my car in my signature.

Good thing though I just hit 2500 miles after a few trips and I gotta tell you the car is perfect.

If mine comes in when they say it's suppose to....it will have been 7 1/2 weeks from the day I gave them my deposit.

If mine doesn't come in next week I'm killing atleast 2 people at the dealership and getting my deposit back. Bad part about that is, if it happens I'll probably end up keeping my truck till next year.. then ordering another stang from someone else in January so I'll have it by Spring. No sense getting a mustang and trading in my 4x4 truck in mid/end of December.

So I get another call from the dealership... they finally got my VIN and the car's ETA is OCT 30TH!!!! ...I was told on the 5th that it would be in the 15/16th! They claim no one ever told me that.. The GM is suppose to be calling me tomorrow to 'talk'.

I guess this would qualify for some sort of congrats When did you place your order?

I can't believe that I placed my order back in the beggining of August, and I have people who placed it on that day or maybe slightly after and they're already getting their cars before me. Not trying to sound like a bithc but this sucks

What, 2 months now? Must have mostly to do with dealer allocation. The DORA shows the true order date so you'd be able to tell if the salesman was dragging his feet on the order.

I put my deposit down & ordered on Aug 24th.

They claim they 'lost' the DORA and cannot printout another one... the only thing I have had for the last 7 weeks was the VOC. I just received the VIN and ETA yesterday at 3pm.

*If you are in the South Jersey / Delaware area and would like to know the dealership's name just PM me*

Jason, another flat-out lie from them, about not able to get another DORA. All then have to do, is pull up the order, and print it out. That simple. These guys are nuts.

I figured it was.. and they are also lieing about telling me the car would be in on the 15th-16th.. my GF was standing right there. I called right after I got off the phone with the salesman and asked her what they had said before telling her about the call I had just received... it definately was the 15th...

Jeff, do you have any manual GT Prem on the lot right now and are you open Sunday?

Is there anyway to track the car once I have the VIN? ..could I see when the order was placed?

Jason, I got a manual GT in Silver, with the new fanblades. Looks very good. Sorry, but were closed on Sundays (against the law to sell cars on Sunday). I'll be off tomorrow as well, as I'm taking my car to Moorestown NJ for a car show. If your in the area, (the show in just off Rt 38. Up the street from the 295 ramp), stop on by and we can chat (and show you what I've done to my car, to give you ideas, lol). For this show, they shut down the middle of Moorestown. Its a great time.
