Though if you look around, you might find a dealer willing to go low right off the bat, depending on how badly they need business. Send out emails to local dealers, maybe you'll get one to bite.

It might look like that initially, but I'd rather go to a place where I pay a bit more than a place where they are cheap (ie. no commission for salesman says a lot) and don't take care of your car.
It is preferable to buy and service your car at the same place IMO. Dealers will (should) value loyalty. I've done this in the past and it has worked very well.[/QUOTE]
I have been dealing with Louisburg Ford for over 10 years when I ordered a new Probe from them. It is an excellent dealership with an excellent service department. It's run like a family business and besides that, any Ford establishment will honor the factory warranty, no problem. Why pay more when you don't have to? They take trade-ins, give factory rebates, and 0% financing when applicable. $50 over factory invoice for over 20 years (almost 25) is the way to go! http://www.LouisburgFord.com

I could see a commitment to $1000 off of MSRP with a decent refundable deposit working ok. You can add that they can hold the deposit untill the vehicle is sold, weather or not YOU actually purchase the vehicle to make it sound very serious. Just get it in writing signed by 2 managers.
Or you can go for MSRP but it includes free GAP insurance and a service contract(like a 3 year oil-change/tire rotation program), those two run a little over $1000 bucks typically.

Can anyone tell me if they have come up with a price on the 05. I know that it was mentioned that they wouldn't have a price until July but thought maybe someone had heard some new information. Was gonna order a week ago but my financial advisor, or as I like to call him my husband

ok guys i'm in need of ya'lls help, i have been suppose to get a 05 mustang for graduation i opted to wait until the 05s come out instead of getting an 04, the problem is, is that sinse i have waited so long already(i graduated in 03) i would like to be able to get one of the first ones at my dealer, i don't want to have to wait until december or january to get one but my parents don't understand the whole ordering process and do not believe that it would be in THEIR benefit to order ahead so what i am asking is what are the chances of me and my parents walking up to our dealer and being ale to buy a Mustang when they first come out and not have to pay MSRP or over? Am i asking to much? i don't want to sound like a brat but i really want an 05 but don't want to wait and don't want to make my parents pay an arm and a leg for it, please guys i need ya'lls expert help
