The info I gave about select dealers is not opinion, it is fact.

Id say Bek's answer sounds right on the money. I wasn't completely sure what it meant.

I think there is still gonna be an '05 SVT Focus (I could be wrong), Lightning will be back in '06 MY with a truck to take on Dodge's new high performance Truck and '07 MY Ford will reveal the SVT Cobra.
SVT Focus gone forever. ST sedan with 150hp 2.3 with the SVT suspension and rear disc brakes will be the only "HP" version. Although the 2.3 duratec is a fantastic engine in any model, smoothest American motor I have ever felt other then Northstar. There are rumors of an awd turbo focus. The 2.3 is easilly modified to take boost, much stronger engine then the Ztec. The new AWD system for escape can proportion up to 80% of its power to the rear wheels, and works with the Duratec 4cyl and manual transmissions(the old one did not). Mazda turbos their Duratec based motor now, and Foci have the provisions to accept a driveshaft and awd on the control blade, although never used.

Dodge is still having trouble beating the "old" lightning. [/b][/quote]
dodge did beat the lightning!!but it will take 45,000 to get it.v 10-500 hp.

Just ordered '05 Mustang GT Premium at Louisburg Ford in Kansas. Dealer sells at $50 over factory invoice for past 20+ years. See at http://www.louisburgford.com

$50 over factory invoice or dealer cost. This is way below MSRP or sticker.
Much savings!

It might look like that initially, but I'd rather go to a place where I pay a bit more than a place where they are cheap (ie. no commission for salesman says a lot) and don't take care of your car.

It is preferable to buy and service your car at the same place IMO. Dealers will (should) value loyalty. I've done this in the past and it has worked very well.

Dan: agreed very much. I'd rather spend the extra $2000 or so upfront so I can take it back to them under warranty without a problem. Especially on a new model like the 05.

Hello Everyone...I was wondering if someone could answer some questions for me on the 05 Mustang. I called two dealers in my area. and both of them told me that they don't have any information on the new car, but they will call me when they do...which could be anywhere from next week to late June-early July.
One dealer also told me that the cars will be on the lot anywhere from sometime in August to late this year.
I would like to go in a place and order for an 05 but the dealers said that's not possible right now.
Any ideas on how I can get the order in and hopfully Ford wll build the car?

If you're a great haggler like me, is it possible to get it at or slighlty above invoice without any special alphabet plan?
