Both ISELLFORD and my '07's are on Temp Hold per Ford. Not sure for what at this point.

Steve, how'd you know you're on temp hold? Did you get the info from the dealer or from the ERL? My order was a big zero as of last week. My dealer told me to try back again this week.

Bob,

I spoke to my dealer on Monday to see if I had a VIN yet. That's when he said it was showing as temp hold. ISELLFORD (Ed) then told me yesterday his was now showing the same thing. The three "new for '07" options we both have in common are the cloth top, comfort group and Sirius radio.

Thanks, Donna. You may remember the first 6 Tungsten Grey photos Brad had in his '06 timeline were the ones I took here in New Jersey. That was my first choice for '06, so I've been following your car on this and many other boards (of late) and yours is the sharpest TG to date. Anywhere.

In an email from Cathy, she said it was on 'serialized hold' but not to sweat it, it had to do with scheduling. To answer your question, I ordered the car on Tuesday, 3/14 (but I could be off a day or two). The first day for ordering was 3/13, but I was doing something that day and could not get down there to order it.

Yup, it's killing me. I've got ants in my pants and I want to dance...

You know, it's funny. I've seen nothing but spy photos of Grabber Orange. When I saw EARLY pics of the Saleen Parnelli Jones Tribute stang, I thought it was sharp, but that it was not going to be the same color.

THEN! After seeing these shots, I'm convinced (READ: not certain) that the Grabber Orange Steve Saleen is using will be the very same on the Ford production units. I HAVE READ THIS NOWHERE. STRICLTY MY OPINION. But you take a look and see for yourself and compare the PJ car to the stangsunleashed.com spy photos. Depending on how the sun hits the PJ car, it looks very close to the spy.

Remember this color is Metallic... buy hey! You judge for yourself. In the end, I've got a sneaking suspicion the first Grabber Orange I see IN PERSON, will be mine. And after seeing the PJ car, I'm feeling a whole lot better that I've seen what will be the production Grabber Orange this summer.

Oh yes, I very much remember those pics. They sold me on the color. I bought it sight unseen and have been very happy with my choice. Thanks for the compliments.
I think the orange is going to look HOT!! If I were going to have another that would be my choice.

 

A word to the wise. The 64W's are coming on the California Special in '07. I understand from my gal that these wheels are a 'controlled commodity'. When I switched from 64E's to 64W's it was not the easiest thing to do or so I'm told. She had to call them in person to get them to swith to the W's.

In short, if you're ordering an '07 and you like the 18" polished bullets, my advice to you is to get crackin'. Not that any one of you would delay, LOL!
