Just wondering...

I seem to be getting 200 miles give or take from a tank full. Normal around town driving.

Is my car sucking or are others getting similar numbers.

I have not taken it on a long blow out run yet but I am hoping it improves on interstates, seeing that I will be driving from NY to Atlanta then Orlando then Nashville. UGG!!! This could get expensive.

06GT stick-my last tank got over 18, best to date(1500 miles). has been typically 14-ish, but Ive been bad that right pedal is just too tempting, and it sounds so good at 2500 plus, that I tend not to shift till around 3k, even just putting around. I drove up to the auto show in cleveland and back, cruising very gently/quietly, and the gage hardly moved compared to normal- I still think on a trip the 25-29 Ive read elsewhere is very believable-and quite inpressive when you consider the 'envelope' of power/mpg these cars can cover...although I really think best mileage will be achieved without cruise control as the OD 5th is so steep, it will suck a ton more fuel on a hillclimb in cruise than I would if using the pedal and just 'not pushing so hard' to maintain 1~2 mph... one thing I hate about the servo throttle, you cant just hold the pedal and hit 'coast' on a hill(I do that all the time in our windstar as on a hill it will 'cruise' and kickdown trying to hold 1mph...I mean it will pull the pedal halfway to the floor, and I hate that...Id rather just lose a couple mph, and not worry about it)
My biggest worry about a long trip is finding stations that 'work'. all but three tanks in mine have come from same pump, same station, the other three tried made a mess and/or only took a nickle at a time...

Trip from MO to TX and back last weekend, the computer showed an avg of 24.5. On both interstate and two lane roads. I didn't do any manual calculations and on my last stop before I got home, the trip odometer reset itself, so I didn't get an overall distance travelled. The computer avg seems pretty close though.

I am getting 18-19 mpg with mostly city. I am getting less since I put my Flowmasters on. But thats my fault, I like to listen to them.

This is right where I am also. I prefer the 14 days over the 26

My 4.10s just killed my highway mileage, from 25 to 21 at 70 mph. It should be back up to 25 when I get my pullies and water pump put in next weekend.

I am getting consistantly around 12.5mpg all city driving.I have also been worried about this. I have been getting this mpg b4 my Flows as well as after them. Atleast I am not totally alone.I have been considering asking the dealer about this but wasn't sure if it would do me anygood.

My city mileage sucks. But there are a lot of stop lights that take forever. (The longer you sit the closer to ZERO you'll get) On the Highway, doing mostly 80 mph +, but not over 90 I get 21-22mpg.

I usually average 21-24mpg with a combination of driving. With new gears just use a simple ratio to estimate similar mileage vs stock. i.e. 25mpg*2100rpm[for 3.55s] / 2400rpm[for 4.10s]=22mpg

also getting 200-220 miles per tank (), I'd say I'm between 14-17 mpg

Stock.
Daily commute is about 10 miles, half city at 25 mph, half interstate at 50 mph

I'm a little disappointed by this mileage. I thought I would be getting at least 17.

Car has only 2500 miles, I hope it will improve as I put more miles...

Yeah, I was averaging between 10-15 for the first couple months. Once it got warmer out and the engine got more miles on it she started running closer to advertised ratings.

I don't have 3k miles yet and I get 17-20 combo city/hwy to work and back and took a long trip when it was new and got 24mpg all highway. I hover around 18 most of the time.
