I'm not real familiar with how the priorty codes work. My Dora shows a 15. Is this good, and what's it mean?

 

From what I have seen people post-you're priority level is good. You have me beat, I'm a 16 from the same dealer.

 

A 10 is the best you could hope for 20 or higher and you have a very long wait ahead of you.
Any number under ten I believe is used by Ford for special orders...I.E. rebuilds

 

You are probably number 6 (priority 10, 11, 12...) in line at the dealership. My dealer was doing a similar process. I started as priority 17 and it got higher as the cars in front of mine were built. At least this is what the order manager at my dealer told me.

 

Priority 15 is not bad at all, you shouldn't have too long a wait.

I feel extra fortunate; I received an 11!

 

The priority number is only as good as the zone and dealership allocation. My original order was priority 12, and sat as c/u since 1/17/05. When I reordered from Gary Yeomans Ford, my priority was 40 and I was serialized the next day.

 

Good point pk. I checked with my dealer and he confirmed they had allocation for my car.
