Orders for V6
I think most people that order the V6 usually have a build date two weeks later. I've been in the system for 1 week and am still C/U. So hopefully either Thursday I'll be serialized w/VIN and Tuesday I get a build date.
If not life is good... I won't panic until the middle of April. From what I've been reading if you get pulled this week you'll probably get your car the first week of May, the next week you'll have it by the second week of May, and so on.

I want to get a idea of how many of you like me are waiting for their V6 to recieve a built date and how many of you have a built date.

Don't know where you are but my dealer has 60 Mustangs coming.....not all at once, but over a 2 month period. They had a Sonic Blue sitting on the lot a couple of days ago.

I got a Build Date of 3-14-05 after only two week, but it got pushed back by two weeks to 3-28-05
No big deal, I just hope that they don't keep delaying it.......

The dealer I and my family have been going to for years doesn't know how to order cars and this trend is for all the dealers around me. yes he has a lot of v6's but all of them are automatics and the one that has a manual is either equipped with nothing or just has interior sport appearance package in it. Ricart Ford has 13 manuals but none of them have antilock brakes/traction control and I need that for the winter (yes I will have to drive it in the winter
). There are only a few sonic blue ones. I don't mind the waiting because this is a car that I am going to keep for a long timeif not forever, so I want to get it the way I want. There is one the way I want it at another dealer in Michigan but the color is redfire and sonic blue I will not sacrafice on I hope it will be true that v6's are get serialized in 2 weeks after order is placed. If not then the wait will be all worth it when I see that car. What is 2 months of wait for a lifetime of enjoyment
No, I don't know for sure why my order was bumped, but I'm not surprized since I've been hearing about parts shortages or this or that.
I just hope it doesn't keep getting bumped every tow weeks!
Hey Falchion do you know why your car got bumped in it's build date?
