Does anyone know the anatomy of the Oder confirmation sheet? More importantly the priority numbers is it the higher numger higher priority or lower priority? :scratch:

 

I believe lower number is higher priority (1 is better than 99)

 

I changed my order from the Light garphite to dark charcoal leather my priority went from 10 to 4. Based on the info you've provided it sound like im in good shape :P

 

When are you given the order confirmation paper? I did my order with the salesman at night and he filled out a paper with carbon underneath it and that's really all I have. He said that there's a woman who processes the actual orders in the morning who'd process mine. Is that the order confirmation paper or is that something that I would have been given after this woman did her thing?

 

No, its a computer generated sheet. I recieved mine form my dealer the day after I spoke with him.

 

Okay, and what is the difference between this and the DORA (which I have no clue what that actually is)

 

Actually I got out the papers I brought home from the dealership and I have one paper that is kind of just like a screen print of a screen that itemizes my options and prices and stuff on it. It says "Vehicle Order Confirmation" on it at the top so I assume this is the right paper. In that case, what is the DORA, and is it standard practice for the dealer to send it after placing an order or do I have to request it?

 

The order confirmation sheet is a print out of the order screen. The important paper is the DORA. That is Ford's acknowledgement that they received the order and exactly what was ordered. Your dealer will probably only send it if you ask.

 

you got a 4 priority? you sure? they usually start at 10 unless there is some special circumstances
