Ummm can someone tell me if this makes sense
Talked to the guy at ford today and btw i ordered it in october
so he told me it was being built next week
But then he said it will be ready at the end of febuary
I live in newyork
Does that get an ok from you guys or do you think somethings fishy about that

Get the "status report" from the dealer. They get it weekly from Ford. It will tell you if it is scheduled for build and what week. Ford will sched every Thursday and update dealers on Friday so tomorrow is perfect. They sched a couple weeks in advance. This will prove out the dealer.

I think that is the latest December date that I have seen scheduled so far. Good for you and maybe a good sign for all us December types. I know, I know, allocation!Drew

UPDATE: Status is now "as of 2/2 - locked in for production week of 1/31"
I figure that means it should be bucked on 2/2!

well some good news i guess i went in to my dealers yesterday and FINALLY got my DORA i ordered in Oct..the 25th to be exact and it says on my DORA Processed 1/13/05. still no vin or build date and i got them to change my priority from a dreadfull 45 to a 10 so that is a bit of good news as well. I do see on the bottom of my DORA where it says in the INFO section to the dealer to REMOVE the 18G and add 18R to get unit scheduled does anyone else have this on the bottom of their DORA? But at least my fear of them not submitting my order on the day i ordered is over i see on the dora that they infact did place it on the 25th of Oct.

2 months now, and my dealer doesn't even know what DORA is!!!
