i appreciate all of the concerns and i have talked to the sales manager and he guarantees me that my car will be here in February i then ask how can you say that when i dont have anything on my car not even a build date... i have a slip when i ordered my car saying estimated February Delivery even then i thought that was a bit long but went with it since the dealer is close to me and could easily go when my car came in to see her roll off the truck

pretty much figured ..
It's 2 months to the day from when I left my deposit. Still clean/unscheduled. My dealer doesn't have any allocation left and won't get new allocation until week 5? Not sure if I have the exact week correct but I know it's in February. Once there is allocation my order should move along and hopefully will arrive by end of March. See sig for timeline of events.
Mustangshadow... I'm with you and wishing you the best. I ordered in Nov and only have a DORA, my situation is only slightly better than yours. I talked w/ my dealer again today. Still no news, C/U. Now I'm being told that mid march is more realistic to expect deliv. Originally it was by the end of '04, then it was the end of Feb, now it's mid-march. I'm being told that most new orders are expecting a 6 month wait to delivery. :bang: My dealer said the only worse situation he's seen was with the T-Birds, but since they were $50k, not as many problems (customer orders) to worry about.
I blame Ford as much as the dealer. Personally I think that their ordering process stinks. They have the ability to know when an order was placed, why punish their end consumers for ordering from a small dealer with lower allocations? They should at least make an attempt to pull 'custom' orders based on when they were placed, and save the allocation crap for the 'lot' orders. Afterall, we the end Ford consumers are the ones left with a bad taste in our mouths.
Hello Ford... are you listening?

Ordered mine on 12/29 (GT Premium, Sonic Blue, Dark Charcoal interior, IUP, side airbags, bullitt wheels) and on 1/13 it was serialized and also scheduled to be built week of 1/31. My priority is 11 and I guess my dealer had plenty of allocation. :-)
Ordered Lime GT IUP 10/19
Serialized 12/19
Build week 1/3
Shipped convoy 1/9
Shipped rail 1/16
arrived ramp 1/24
arrived at the dealership overnight lastnight!
I am waiting for the call as I write to go get it! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wait!

I think that is the latest December date that I have seen scheduled so far. Good for you and maybe a good sign for all us December types. I know, I know, allocation!Drew

i totally agree...i havent called my dealer yet today to find out if there is ANY news.
kinda tired of getting the same replies every time i call. I am afraid of one of these times of just telling them to stick it
:nono:
Djenders - I'm in same situation - still no expectation of a car before April here in northern New England. Well at least I am consoled by the fact that our roads are such a mess that I would not be driving it anyway. I get chunks of pavement tossed up at my windshield daily on one crumbling and unavoidable section of I-95 every day.
I ordered and got my DORA on 11/30. I had nothing but clean and unscheduled and a lot of b.s. from my dealer. I couldn't take it anymore. I found what I wanted a few miles away, went up there and bought it right off the showroom floor. I love her, she is worth every penny!
