Found this new guide over at
FordAXZ.com

What threw me off was the file size is larger. the old one was 368K
The one on their site is 440k.

Downloaded it and compared it.
The only thing I noticed was on the last page (8).
The V6 rating is 210 instead of 208.
Torque is the same at 240.
The numbers however, in the body of the document are still wrong.

And if you notice the 210 looks almost....fainter...than the rest of the text.
Almost as if it was printed out, changed and re-PDF'd
I could be wrong, and that could be a new revision...but the dates are the exact same...Monday the 24th of May, 2004.

If so, they'd better let us know now...

You know how many pissed off people you'd have if it was?
Doubtful.
18s..sure...but no IRS.
They'll use that down the line if they ever add it to the base V6/8 as a buying incentive. Because the people who buy the 05 will be ready to turn in for another or what have you.

Say...2007/8/9

I can't imagine the handling package being just 18's though. maybe a tuned suspension and lowered?

The stance is pretty good as it is but to get a mild suspension drop and stiffer shocks from the factory would be amazing.

I need to know how long this package is delayed and what is in it to see if it is worth me waiting for it.

Am I the only one that thinks that ford would have made a killing had they offered a "lowered suspension" option on the 94-04 Mustangs?

Yup. I'd have paid a few extra buck to drop my mach another 1/2 inch.

I can imagine all of the GT's and especially 6's (and convertibles) really wanting that drop in ride height as well.

The Bullitt has the best ride height of a stock stang. My mach isn't too bad, just wish it were a bit lower is all.

Now that the SVT Model is 2 years off I think we can forget about seeing the IRS.

The 05 GT looks like its as low as the 04 Cobra. Very nice from the factory.

Sure another 1/2" drop from the factory would be nice, but for me it isn't something I'd pay a wad of cash to do afterwards.

They would never "add" it to the standard V6/GT line to make it more attractive, not for this gen. 90+ percent of the buyers dont care either way.
