I know my dealer's aren't but still assures I'm first to get a GT.

He's calling in a favor he did for the Regional inventory manager.

The RIM called him earlier this year to sell 5 mustangs that RIM was sitting on. By doing so he was guaranteed GT on the first truck.

just curious if you could scan the copy of what you signed and/or ordered.

My dealership still says order banks aren't open. I'm in NORCAL.

I just called the dealer that I have been talking too. He said the banks weren't open yet. I also just emailed two other dealers. Maybe I am just not worth this one's time.

FMCdealer lists today's date as the order date. When i went into my dealer on Friday, it refused to take the order. I went in today with my girlfriend, and asked him to try again. We sat down, and he filled out the process, the not available message that came up on Friday did not come up, he passed it to the woman in charge of dealer transfers and orders, she took it to management, who signed off on the order, then she typed it into Concepts and sent it, and got it back. The only difference in the paper i got Friday and the paper i got today is this one is signed off by the dealer, and the actually order sheet was signed off by the manager. My confirmation report, same sheet as the one from last Friday, was actually confirmed, and the dealer wrote about the refundable deposit down and order taken on this date, ill scan soon hopefully.

And this dealer has been the most helpful and receptive to me working with them, the other dealers have just blocked out anything and try pointing me in wrong directions; he hasnt been full of misinformation or bs, worked with me, and i think that's helped me get ahead of the game.

I went and put down a deposit on my '05 today. The dealer showed me a sheet he had that said the banks were supposed to open 5/17 but that it got delayed. We went over what I wanted and all and we signed and paid a deposit . As soon as they have prices he said they'll be able to place an order in the bank. When he has the prices he's gonna call me and we're gonna go over and specify all teh options, build it, and get it ordered. The sheet said the first ones (or production begins) im not sure which are coming 9/17, he said I can expect to get mine in October, or likely November.

They can be ordered anytime, the bank is open. You just have to make sure the dealer agrees to PAY for it so Ford will build it. It takes following up on. Most likely "ordered" cars wont get built until the second batch in october.
