I have had my share of Mustangs but I must say this one tops them all......but of course I have never owned a 69 Mustang ( my dream car). But this one is close and it is a keeper. And my husband says we will have this one a longggggggg time... ^_^

Good question. I may keep it for a few years and eventually pass it along to one of my sons, or if something else even more exciting comes along in the next couple of years, it might get traded-in; who knows? Until then, I just plan on enjoying it.

At least until it makes over 500 rwhp... Then however long till it explodes.

I made the mistake of selling my '65 two years after buying it new. I'm planning to keep this one a very long time.

I'm 46, have a wife, three kids. The oldest is 13, this toy is going to have to last a long time.

5 years (@ ~$250.00/month) till it's paid off. I'll keep it that long, then drive for the price of fuel (and mods) for the next 5 years. Then I'll get my wife to give Chip Foose a call with a sob story, and have him OVERHAUL it for me... and keep it another 10...

Well I will try and hang on to it as long as possible. I will soon be 59 years old and after it is paid for I will be 63. If my health stays good and I'm comfortable driving it I will keep it as long as I can afford to in my retirement years. Limited income, gas prices and insurance will probably force me to sell it then.
I just have to say I think it is really cool that you are going on 60 and still have a GT with performance mods! I hope when I get older I still have the performance bug like you do.

If I can get a decent deal on a GT500, then it'll be gone next year. If not, I'll keep it til it starts falling apart.
