I'll probably keep it for a long time... at least 5-6 years.

I am at a point in my life now where trading in for another sportscar is down on the priority scale.

I still have to buy my own house, eventually settle down, etc, etc.

Then again, if I somehow marry into money, I could trade it in for another

I to plan on keeping this car a very long time...Kept my last Stang 18 years..only reason its gone, is that somebody stole it..
I must say though..If they build that Challenger I wont jump ship But the wife's car well be leaving to make room for it..I'm sure she wont mind driving a pony around..

I'm keeping it forever, I consider this my first car (previous cars were more like loaners) and if i ever get bored i can always just pour more money into it!

Keeping her till I'm old.

I will of course add to the stable, but my first one is special.

I did a lot of shopping around to get the EXACT car I wanted. I'm having tons of enjoyment refining and modding it, and don't see parting with it as even a blip on the far horizon

My track record with keeping cars is right at 10 yrs or more. Certainly this is one of the best cars I've ever owned since my first one back in 'ought 72' so Im sure I'll have it that long.

I have had mine since June 3rd and am collecting new mods for her, now I just need time to do them all. Plan on at least 10 years with this one had a 77 Trans Am 15 years til We moved to Florida and This car is a much better all around vehicle. And the compliments I get almost make me feel 20 again.

I would keep it a long time as well. It has taken more then a year to save for this car. I am not a rich man so I am in no possition to trade up every 2 or 3 years.

I intend on keeping this car until I am older and grayer. The only reason I could possibly see her leaving is if a Shelby somehow came wondering up to my doorstep.

I generally keep my cars for 2-3 years. This one I'll keep until FORD releases something that just blows the current GT away and is reasonably priced (no, not the shelby). So who knows, perhaps 2008 will be the year mine gets traded in.

Keeping mine for a while.

The wife wants one in 07/08 - she wants Valencia Orange color.

Around 10 or 11 though, if there is a Mach or other SE I'm interested in, I'll add it to the stable.

Searching high and low for a 69 or 70 Mach to restore/rebuild right now. Looking for something affordable, but not totally rusted out, etc.

Until I can give it to my son. In the mean time, I will be slowly be modding it, like you see in the magazine stories where it takes the guy 8 years but he finally gets it there.

My plan is to keep it for 5 to 7 years, or unless I can get a really good deal on a new, more powerful model later on down the road, but even then, that would have to be at least 3+ years from now.

I'm also going to jump ship to the Dodge Challenger (if they make it) In 1972 i bought a 1971 Challenger, that thing was a blast. If not , i'm going for a 2008 SVT Sport Tract Adrenalin.

It was a long term keeper when it was ordered, it was a long term keeper when I gave it to my wife, and it will be a long term keeper, hopefully, well after my 2.5yr old learns how to drive.

Now, that is not to say that there will not be a sibbling in it's future, he, he!!

I keep my cars until the wheels fall off.
Last car (bought brand new!) was 9 years old with 167K.
Other used cars in the past were 7-8 years old as well with 100K+ miles.

I plan on keeping this Mustang for awhile.

I will give this car up when they pry the keys from my cold dead fingers!!!!! This car is a keeper for me. I would love to have a new Shelby sitting in my garage, but I can't really justify it right now.
