Well I figured out the source of the frickin’ sound I was hearing – FINALLY.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=39135

I hadn’t sold my original ‘new’ set of wheels for my car (18 by 9 Millie Miglias) and last night after work, swapped out my front set of bullitts for the Millie’s.

And da*n if the noise wasn’t gone.

There are no marks on the wheels or on any of the hardware in the wheel well…. The only thing I can think of is that somehow one of the tires is out of round and needs to be rebalanced – I’m gonna try and do them both asap so I can get them back on the car – I am running the whole Millie set right now and it looks pretty cool/different – but I just love the look of the car with those bullitts so I want them back on asap.

Anyway, I was actually relaxed on my drive into work this morning for the first time in weeks. That noise would bug me so much, it would distract me from enjoying sitting behind the wheel….. and when you own a Stang, that’s no way to live!

I hope this rebalancing solves my problem……
