The Americans moving north, are mostly liberals, tree huggers, art history majors, and sociology professors.

While I would welcome with open arms the majority of Americans to come live up here, those guys can just stay home. We've got enough of those type of people already.

how do you Canadians stay warm w/o being fat anyway??? I would think you'd need a good thick layer of good ole American blubber (no, I don't have any to spare).

Anyway, despite the lack of options and blandness in Canada, there apparently is good taste in both beer and cars, just look at Adrenalins !!!

I think we stay warm by metabolizing our fat into heat (some of us anyways!)
Look at all the extra typing we have to do. All those extra characters in our words: color->colour, donut->doughnut, gage->guage, harbor,->harbour, judgment->judgement, jewelry->jewellery, program->programme, etcetera, etcetera, resulting in more typing, especially if we forget and type the :flag2: spelling and have to backspace and change it to
Or if we type and realise (oops, that's British isn't it?) :flag2:'s are gonna read it!
That's gotta burn more calories which creates more heat...
Hmmm, "gonna", is that or :flag2:??
I think "gotta" is :flag2:?
Even just thinking about all that confusion get's me flustered!

I've been shopping around and debating buying the 2005 versus waiting for the 2006 because of my previous experience with 2 really bad ford model year vehicles. Anyway I've been reading these forums and shopping locally around the dealerships and I've noticed something odd. We seem to have different options and standard equipment in Canada versus the US.

-All 2005 mustangs I have looked at have the smoking package(ashtray/lighter)my understanding is the US ones do not?
-Spoiler delete is NOT available in Canada. Lame since I wanted a CDC ducktail, anyone know the reason for this?
-Canadian standard equipment for the radio is Shaker 500, there is no lesser option only an upgrade to the 1000. Lame again since I would opt for the cheapest radio and swap it for a XM.
-My 2000 mustang GT had traction control as an option but I was told it is standard equipment in the USA since 1999. Anyone confirm or deny this?

There are probably other things I've missed but it certainly is a bit odd. Perhaps they tailor to the market? However, the no spoiler delete thing is just bizzare.
Don't forget the door moulding on the GT. Another ugly Canadian Option.
And don't feel bad......
There's a few of us lurkers waiting for the 06, Mach, or Cobra. Welcome!

I've never seen gage, unless its someone's name its guage. And doughnut is the proper spelling here as well, just Dunkin Donuts dumbed most Americans down, as well as fatting us. And judgment is used for court judgments, while judgement is the more typical, as in "In my judgement Canada spells things wrong, but at least they seem to be able to speak English, except Quebec - screw the French."

Just noticed this "smiley," cool
