I just got off the phone with customer service (for those of you who want the number 1-800-392-3673) and they said my car should be in anytime from Monday December 20th to January 7th..oh and it was built a few days ago .
Just wanted to know how many of you out there got there's in that 2 week window?

I got mine faster than initially predicted. Obviously delivery date accuracy will increase as the date approaches. I would call them a few times a week to get a good idea of when it will hit the dealer lot.

Normally the window is approx 7 days, not 2+ weeks period mentioned. I expect the extra time is for the holidays. The car I ordered was approx 1 week late though.

I had information that my car was being built this week, and ETA to the dealer was week of 12/31, then when I checked with customer service they said the car is in the process of being built as we speak, and gave me the 12/31 date and then she said the date was pushed back to 1/7/05.

When I asked about the change in delivery dates she said that the car will be finished by the 20th but Ford wants to check the car before shipping it to the dealer to make sure it doesn't have any problems.

I'd love to have the car before the end of the year but if I have to wait until 1/7 that's fine. After all I've been waiting since 10/20 for the car so what's another week.

Car was built week of 11/29, was dropped by train at our reginal railhead on Dec 6, which is down in Winston-Salem, N.C., were it sat waiting until today. Today I actually caught the car being unloaded at my dealer. So a week is not out of the question, it kinda depends on train service, then on a convoy carrier having a full load of vehicals to deliver to your area. The car sat at the convoy carrier lot for over a week.
