just besure to get the computer and wiring harness from the donor car if you go that route. 03-04 cobras are coil on plugs where our 96-98 cobras have 2 coil packs.

Think the only difference is compression ratio - which is why they are priced the same.

And I agree - if you're not going to build it, go with a shortblock.

I saw over on another forum, a guy bought a complete bullitt drivetrain (engine, transmission, computer etc.) From there.

We are goin to wait on the rebuild. We found out the head gasket is not the problem. The oil is coming from the place where the oil filter screws in. I'm not sure on what it's called.

Then take the oil cooler off and replace it... you will need to drain the coolant and get a new gasket

We got it fixed. We took the filter off and there was a 1/2 inch hex that needed to be tightened. Was drivin last night

Only problem now is my new clutch quadrant doesn't want to stay adjusted it has maybe 100 miles on it.

Yup! It's just burning off some of the oil that coated the exhaust still, smells bad. It runs but won't be moving till I can take it to the shop on Monday and complain about the "new" quadrant they put in the car.
