ive been wondering the same thing, tho i have heard that they are just a waste of money and that the stockers are more than enough, but i guess its who you talk to and what they are running the car for.

Well I have about 70k on my stock ones. I don't believe the spark is as hot as it used to be. I priced the stock ones and they are ridiculous, so I want to put in something with a hotter spark. I just wanted to know which ones hold up best for the $

Are you talking coil packs or coil on plug? I run the COPs on my 03 supercharged and they have been great but i woulnt say they are any better than stock. I got them for 100 new so i figured why not and i still have my stockers for back up. Some people claim to make better power and better mpg but i didnt really notice anything. Of course a couple HP isnt notice when you are making around 500 anyway

Mine is the 4.6 2v. It has the cop set up. Even if they don't give more power, they are a lot less $ than stock. If they hold up well I would consider them a better buy

I bought the accel coils at 125,000 to replace the stock coils. I can say I got a much smoother idle and helped alot during a slow take off. I'm at 150,000 now and have had no problems.

A lot of people I have talked to say the Ford coils are better than any aftermarket ones.
