Sounds good. If I ran them stacked could I put a blower hat on the top one?

You would have to make one, because the inlet is on the rear of them

As long as he can fab up the parts himself, cost would be the only real benefit. Unless he builds the motor as well, boost would need to be kept somewhat low (max 4psi on each blower I would say).

It'll be 14psi between the two blowers.

you'll most likely break something at that psi, on a stock engine

I would say 8 psi max unless your building the motor as well. Stock, it won't last too long.

I'm going to forge the pistons and polish and port my heads and use the supercoupe lower intake.

I've decided to just rebuild the supercoupe engine from ground up and put the whole thing together outside of the car and then swap the engines out. It'll give me a new engine and save probably a months time.

Its an interesting idea for sure. Definitely keep us posted as things go along an parts strt rolling in!
I saw a video pf a challenger with dual blowers, a monster cam too. Its definitely possible, and definitely one helluva accomplishment when you finish it up

You will definatly need much larger fuel injectors and fuel pump. I'm sure a 255lph fuel pump would be fine, injectors I'm not sure since you would need bigger on a 6 for same power as an 8.

I'm getting some off AM that are good up too 450hp! I got all the parts yesterday and sand blasted them all tonight. Monday they will be sent out to be stripped and acid washed and then powder coated blue to match the car.

Here's a picture of the twin blowers unpainted.

I won't! Got my Haynes manual today on the supercoupe engine, time to tear it down and get to work!

It's a 3.8L ford motor with different heads, forged pistons, a couple other things. It comes stock with 215rwhp which is = to a 4.6L V8. So right at the start you have the power of a V8 without the blowers.

You can get a Kenne Bell boost-a-spark, and you'll also need to close the gap on the plugs.

Is it necessary or will the stock one work fine?
